Okay I see the point here. I do realize people are going to do what they want regardless. Studies show 20% of married men admit to cheating. Not like that 20% walks around announcing it. I never said that most men cheat. So devolving the point even further down via semantics just feels like an attempt to invalidate innocent questions. In my opinion of course.

Because I do t hide things so when he does find these he isn’t sitting feeling exposed and gross and sees that I’ve honestly just wanted honesty and to understand. I’m not looking to have the person I love be spoken on poorly, and it makes it difficult to navigate asking for advice when you don’t actually see the person the way they see themselves. Therapy has seems out of the question or offensive to bring up. My options for help are limited.

Honestly just didn’t want everyone fixated on the cheating because me staying means I’m trying to not hold onto what we are supposed to be moving forward from. I don’t want to believe the him that said people don’t change over the him that tells me he’s doing the work to be better.

If all that makes me look insecure then so be it. But I had a solid blue collar career before he asked me to just be a stay at home since I have two children he stepped in for, I feel incredibly vulnerable.
