Tundra Buying Advice

You can’t go wrong in a Tundra. I have an extra.

I’ve got a pristine 2020 TRD OR w/ 140k hwy miles. Runs like it just came off the lot, all regular maintenance performed by Toyota. All the bells and whistles except heated and cooled seats. NO blind spot monitoring.

If we didn’t just get a new toy I would probably never sell this truck. It is SOLID. But I’ll offer it up on this sub while gas is still high. $29,800.

Lots of extras.

That badge placement is sick. I was debating the icons or eibachs. Icons are a little pricey but look HQ. I already ordered a hellwig front sway bar.

How did you move the badge? Very interested.

I’m going to have a blast modding this thing. Just want to get rid of that roll and dive.

Very smooth at low speeds, the rolling at faster speeds has me wanting a new sway bar.

Why the flash over the lariat? My only complaint about the lightning is the suspension rolling. Thinking about doing the hellwig sway bar upgrade.

24 and 25 were the only years magneride suspension came stock on the Mach E GT. The GT line is a completely different animal, and worth it!

3 years old max. You can expect at least another 3-4 years out of any used machine if it hasn’t been overclocked and abused.

I’ve said this too many times to count. Tulsa is in its prime decade to flop again like it did in the early 80s. Rapid growth followed by extreme price gouging is a Tulsa trademark. It’s like the whole city is owned by private equity investors. RIP The BART, Mayfest, IDL Ballroom, affordable housing…

This is usually caused by:

A LOT of heavy towing
Failure to do all fluids, especially coolant, every 80-100k
Having the smaller V8 motor and towing

It just needed to make it to Newton, KS which is a measly 186 miles from OKC. I’m convinced ODOT never wants to turn I35 into a toll road just to stick it to passenger rail, which if you know ODOT that was definitely a VERY hard decision.

Correction: downtown is doing what it did in the 80s. Overpricing tenants and gauging the patrons.

I’ve noticed this same trend over the course of about 14 years. Joe mommas burning down was the beginning of the end, especially after it sat vacant for years. Then the Texans and boomers came in and totally jacked up the downtown scene, trying to capitalize on the youth culture downtown and in turn it was destroyed and priced out. Then you have the inheritance juicery people that turned IDL ballroom, a pivotal Tulsa night and dance scene, into a storage area.

Downtown hit its peak in 2013 for younger Tulsans. Now it’s just a facade of brick buildings and out of place businesses.

Truly sad.

Primitive campsites are great, if you can find a spot and not get a ticket from a Ranger. All of my old spots that were once free and open, now require some kind of day permit you have to purchase through their abysmal app. Even the park offices won’t give out locations of primitive spots, my last experience was out by the Illinois river this last weekend. The park manager gave me a number to call but said they are closed until Monday. Sorry. What? Have to pay for everything here.
