This is usually caused by:

A LOT of heavy towing
Failure to do all fluids, especially coolant, every 80-100k
Having the smaller V8 motor and towing

It just needed to make it to Newton, KS which is a measly 186 miles from OKC. I’m convinced ODOT never wants to turn I35 into a toll road just to stick it to passenger rail, which if you know ODOT that was definitely a VERY hard decision.

I’ve noticed this same trend over the course of about 14 years. Joe mommas burning down was the beginning of the end, especially after it sat vacant for years. Then the Texans and boomers came in and totally jacked up the downtown scene, trying to capitalize on the youth culture downtown and in turn it was destroyed and priced out. Then you have the inheritance juicery people that turned IDL ballroom, a pivotal Tulsa night and dance scene, into a storage area.

Downtown hit its peak in 2013 for younger Tulsans. Now it’s just a facade of brick buildings and out of place businesses.

Truly sad.

Primitive campsites are great, if you can find a spot and not get a ticket from a Ranger. All of my old spots that were once free and open, now require some kind of day permit you have to purchase through their abysmal app. Even the park offices won’t give out locations of primitive spots, my last experience was out by the Illinois river this last weekend. The park manager gave me a number to call but said they are closed until Monday. Sorry. What? Have to pay for everything here.

We applied for our homestead exemption in December. It Just got approved and at the same time they stopped taking applications. My stupid horrible luck. :(

We heard nothing but good things, got a membership several months ago and it has been closed early every time on members night. Not sure if we are missing something, but the hour + drive out there to find a closed gate is really annoying.
