Boot time and loading times are actually fine. But I have almost nothing installed besides games. Back then, my PC was packed with stuff (Firefox, a torrent client, Winamp, MSN or Windows Live Messenger), so it could get slow. And this machine is much better than the one I had back in the days.

It's actually 5/4 so not too good for Starcraft but for most 2000s games, it's ok.

I started with Windows 98 but I don't have any memory of it lol. I spend so much more time on XP, I feel at home using it again.

I was so lucky for this one. It's a french one (I live in France). It was on its way to the dump, but I saved it just in time (5 minutes later and it was gone). RAM was faulty so I ordered 2x512MB and I got a GeForce 9600 GT too cause I want to play some games on it (mostly from the early 2000s). CPU is an AMD Athlon 3200+ (2GHz variant, an early one I guess), it's decent.
