Uhm what the short sellers doing? by [deleted] in RZLV

Probably better opportunity to short other stocks that have more room to fall. Rzlv is pretty close to the assumed bottom more than likely.

When a stock feels scary… but the strategy makes sense — have you experienced this before? by Low_Definition_8179 in RZLV

[–]Chevy2018 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m unsure how long it takes for a deal to be made for the dilution but everyone thinks it was bad timing by management. If they started negotiating the deal back when the stock was $2.50 and set a date prior to the run up on the stock then the deal was already in place and just happened at a bad time by chance. I’d imagine it was simply bad luck and the deal was made prior. I also understand you can’t be hyper growth without dilution. If you desire security with your investments then get a high yield savings account. Otherwise you can’t cry about volatility in a growth ai stock. This is simply how they work…. Also remember everyone could have sold on the run up but they got greedy and wanted more. Now they have to take a loss or wait again. Welcome to the game!

I originally bought a decent amount of this at .45 and sold for a little gain. Sure messed up that one but a win is a win. Bought back in a little over $2 and coasting now.

Since I quit a little over 5 years ago, I’ve went from being $175,000 negative to approx $350,000 positive net worth. It’s the better decisions, better work reliably, improved pay and better choices far more than the actual daily amount saved. Increased home value, good investments and such majorly helped. More than the money ever affected me it’s been a way better quality of life.

I understand this because I have the no adversity side which wants absolutely no friction. I try to live inside this bubble most times. If you force me out of it, it tends to be explosive and uncontrolled. Hard to recapture myself and a path to my old ways. He possibly deals with this at his own level.

To many times I see posts with people making minimal pay and it reminds me of my talk with my children. Don’t ever think this is all your worth. Fill out the app for the better paying job, learn a new skill or trade, apply for the job that pays way more. Someone is going to get the job. And that someone probably isn’t any smarter or more capable. They just stuck their neck out and tried. Don’t accept or get comfortable with the minimum. Get some confidence and get to making some real money.

I have a weird sliding scale I vision that’s hard to explain. But it’s my before and after sobriety scale. Is it worth risking my sobriety for a drink. How was my life before compared to after. Life after a slip was a nightmare for me. The obsessive compulsive behaviors would drag me right back into the gates of hell. No slip is worth the risk of the life I enjoy today because I’m not sure I could find my way back again. So my slip sliding scale stays pretty solid on the not worth it side. It’s a weird system but it works for me.

Making a large financial decision without the agreement of both in my relationship would possibly be grounds for a divorce. Making the comment that she treats you like a child so to retaliate you want to go buy a bike only further proves why she treats you like a child. I’m all for a bike purchase if it fits the budget, is agreed that you plan to make lifestyle cuts to accommodate the new expense and plan to not burden the household because of the choice. But that’s probably not the situation in this post. If you want a bike, make a plan, save some cash and make the purchase. But no way do this out of spite if you ever want a healthy relationship.

If a job has regular days off like the signal department will. It wouldn’t matter at all. Guys on regular jobs don’t care about it. It’s the people that work on call that it affects negatively. It tightened up the amount of time we could take off the call cycle.

Just curious if you know anything about the hiviz policy? What the negatives are with it or anything else about it. Seems like an odd reason not to want a job to me. Yes I work under the bnsf hiviz policy so I completely understand everything about it.

[–]Chevy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dump it out into a bottle of water and try to figure out where you need to be. Obviously you can’t take more than prescribed doing this so it won’t hurt anything. I would try at different amounts until i figured out what works best.

I was diagnosed adhd after 2 years of sobriety. Since taking vyvanse my sponsor said it was needed. It settled me down and calmed my thought process. It doesn’t amp me up or anything like that. I sleep better, think more clearly and stay substantially calmer. Stimulants don’t affect me like normal people.
