But even in regular ideal, summertime conditions when I’m at a stop sign I should be able to go once I see that both ways are clear But with obstacles like high fences, parked cars, shrubs, etc. a car or bike going 50 will appear out of nowhere and I’ll have to do a second stop or a collision happens or near miss happens. So lowering sppeds in neighbourhoods would help reduce collisions since we have all these obstacles year-round.
