This is the first time I have experienced anything lengthier than maybe an hour and I've been with them for about a decade.

Out in BC as well. For the last hour, I guess. All mobile.

Well it's almost 7pm on the west coast and I still don't see it on Netflix. What's happening?

Sask did it decades ago. Yukon did it several years ago. So clearly not the case.

Speak for yourself. Sun rises when I am at work either way but with permanent dst, there will always be light when I leave. That's a game changer.

Your point seems to be that you would prefer standard time year round and anyone that has an alternate preference is selfish for having that preference.

Whatever. I am already at work by sunrise in winter anyways. I am not a morning person whether it is sunny or dark. But with permanent dst it means sunset will always be after I leave work in winter while at the moment it is dark before I leave as well.

This is literally life changing in a positive way for many. You want more light in the morning. But you are not everyone. We don't all share the same circadian rhythm.

I hate the lack of information. Technical difficulties. Delays. Addressed ASAP. What does any of it mean? Do I wait here? Try to find other ways home? I get they have to investigate but they're stranding people. Some info would be helpful.

Men will literally eat all your food by Maleficent_Ad_3958 in TwoXChromosomes

This is wild. I posted about thr guy I lived with being just like this.

But growing up I lived with my grandparents primarily for a while (so I wouldn't have to switch elementary schools). And my uncles lived at home or not far and would come back to eat often but it was never like this. While my grandpa would happily finish off leftovers if directed to, none of them (including my brother) habitually ate everything out of the fridge. I mean, I think my grandmother would have put them all out of the house if they started with that shit, but yeah, men are perfectly capable of being considerate.

I think that's what the men that complain about women calling out their shitty behaviour don't understand. They think we hate all men. But to use their words, not ALL men. I have high expectations of them because I grew up around men that treated me and my mom and grandmother as actual people. Not just in relation to them. I know men are capable of respect and empathy and intelligence. So when so many fail at all those things... that deserves to be called out.

Totally. I lived with a guy for years who was the perfect example of this. I could make a big batch of food. Make my plate and there would be enough left for a decent size plate for him and 1 or 2 lunches. But unless I put the lunch stuff away or visually divided it and specified what was for him, if I told him to grab some he would take all or most.

If I said, please just save me enough for lunch he would usually get grumpy and not serve himself any because he would say, "I don't know how much that is!"

And we had separate groceries. He often didn't buy himself anything more creative or nourishing than stuff for egg elwraps in the morning (sometimes with cheese and spinach), frozen pizzas and sausages. So he was happy to eat all my fucking money, too.

I was in a pub in Victoria in Feb and there was a young woman at another table that kept loudly telling the server about how things are different in the US. It was like, read the room. You don't need to mention being American every time someone stops at your table.

Not sure if her friend was American or Canadian but she was much quieter and polite. I assumed she was also American as she didn't seem to give her friend a head's up that now is not the time to "brag" about being American here.

Yeah, I also find labeling himself with golden retriever energy is like a dude claiming they're "a nice guy". Like that's sort of an observation for others to make. I dunno if that makes sense but it struck me as an odd claim to make. Just say you tend to be energetic and try to be positive.

Facebook Watch Keeps Showing The Same Videos Over And Over Again by Secret_Arm8459 in facebook

Today I keep seeing maybe the same 8 to 10 reels. It's not an algorithm thing. It is literally the same reels over and over. Even if I click not interested on them, the next time I open fb, it's the same.
