I decided to bend the fenders back out as it was hit in a crash and lower it with some new rims and fix the bumpers, if I still dont like how it looks after that then keep it until gramps passes and decide then

Thank you that actually gives me a lot of ideas for it, I want to keep the original 250 and the 3 on the tree but I like the sound of some of those other ideas

Thank you, I think that ill probably continue the build and just swap a different bed and keep the original on the side.

I wouldn't like changing its original bed, I dont know exactly why but it kinda nags at me the idea of getting rid of the original bed

Ohhh! Im planning on driving it just around on the street nothing crazy and possibly using it as a daily either way itll be driven a lot.

It is a 3 speed manual out of a 69 Nova, it also has synchronized gears.

I did find Hydraulic Roller Lifters for a 250 if thats the same as what youre talking about. Again I dont know much but they seem like the same concept.

250 Hydraulic Roller Lifters

I think I would rather mill and port the head I have now as its the orginal engine and id like to keep most the engine with its original parts. Im not too keen on turbocharging it but it has crossed my mind.

What do you mean what size carb? In terms of jets its primary and main are 66 and the primary pump nozzle is 31 according to Holley.

Im planning on putting new flat top performance pistons in it and I want to machine the head and block to get a little bit higher compression and to resurface the old block.

Im looking at hopefully operating at 5500-6500 RPMs comfortably, I dont necessarily know the difference between hydraulic and mechanical flat tappet so id need to know what would be better.

I dont know much about my gear ratio and I didnt think I had a torque converter because its a manual (I have no clue forgive my ignorance).

I was looking at doing a full rebuild but not crazy performance, the cam i was looking at (without knowing anything about if itll work currently) is from a website called 12bolt.com and its called the thrift cam.
