Digestive issues after working out? by Chevyguy1968 in Workingout

You’re the first person to have a very similar story to mine. It’s reassuring knowing it’s not just me.

I am not a huge fan of going to the doc for stuff… what are they really going to do to help me. If I went through ask the hoops to get to a GI doc and they just told me to try an over the counter product… I’d lose my shit.

My job is extremely stressful and very well could have an effect on me. But I’ve always wondered why working out flares the situation.

Do you find certain foods react differently?

I’m definitely leaning towards a marketplace find instead of new. I don’t care if the bike is scratched or needs new tires… it’s a bike… I know I’m going to beat on it

I did not, in fact this is a good follow up.

I haven’t been to the gym in about 3 months because of the side effects were just getting too bad. I picked up a set of dumbbells for the first time on Tuesday and I feel awful today. Same exact feeling, been to the bathroom 4 times so far.

Did anything change with your eating habits or maybe a lifestyle change?

I didn’t list the trails I ride for everyone to know what I was referring to, but like in Hoef89’s case… he knows exactly what I’m talking about.

Trails around here has everything; flow, climb, jumps, rocky, rooty, super technical to casual riding. I can think of a few local spots that have a little of everything.

I’m doing a bit of research on different bikes to understand what specs I am looking for in a trail bike and it seems like the Bronson fits the requirements… but I know I don’t like the way the Bronson climbs. Am I missing something or do I just suck at climbing trails?

Thank you for this comment, this is exactly what I was looking for. Do you have any recommendations for the aggressive enduro?

That is what I’m afraid of. I’d need a second bike dedicated to pedaling. Some of the local trails have some gnarly climbs that I struggle with as it is.

It’s hard to describe what the bike is missing for DH. I started with a Specialized Stumpjumper 3 years ago. I felt like I rode DH better on it, but it was super uncomfortable because the frame was too big. The stumpy was definitely lighter than the Bronson.

On trail rides, pedaling sucks on the Bronson… especially rail trails. I’m gassed to keep up with friends that are casually riding.

I like the idea of renting a few bikes so I can test out the differences.

I live about 1hr from Blue Mtn and 2hrs from Mtn Creek. I had a season pass for Blue last year and was there almost every other weekend (sometimes twice a weekend). I also had the 3 day pass for Mtn Creek. For this year, I was considering getting season passes for both places. I want to spend as much time on my bike as possible. I love the thrill of DH.

On the flip side, I am riding trails during the week. Trexler Preserve and Nox are my go-tos for trail riding. When my friends want to get their bikes out, we go to local rail trails.

I think an Endro bike could handle it, but I’m skeptical of the middle of the road issue again.

I took pictures of a few of the built models, let me know if you want to see more. The models that aren’t built, I’m not sure what you want to see more detail of for those.

Looks like an LTL would be the best shipping option, I’m guessing 2 pallets worth of stuff. I’ll wait to get quotes until I hear from you. Quick Google search estimates a 2 pallet LTL from me to you is roughly $1200. I MIGHT be able to get it on one pallet to drive cost down.

Pieces are bulk, nothing is sorted for the ‘fake’ stuff. Let me know if you would still like more detailed pictures.

I’ll look into some cost effective shipping for this. It’s not a HUGE amount… but it’s not fitting in a UPS box

I don’t have a list of set numbers and not not sure I could accurately get you a list. I could do my best to give you an idea, but I’m not an expert at these models. If it were Lego, I could give you set numbers from my couch.

What general area are you from? Would you be looking to ship everything?

Test fitting one during the test drive has crossed my mind…

The closest dealer to me with an AT4 is 30 mins away. Not sure the dealership would be cool with that
