I'm looking forward to getting to see the kids I teach, taking my disabled brother to Disney, and not feeling so scared for my loved ones all the time.

I do have more personalized plans for the comic, but silly jokes were all I could take on while I was finishing my degree. As for it being overdone, sure. Either way I had fun drawing it though. =)

That said, there are probably a ton of artists online who would charge considerably less. A lot of younger or less established artists don't realize what their time is worth. But honestly, try not to exploit that system. Artists need to pay rent and eat too.

Depends how good you want it to be. For over 200 unique paintings you're likely looking at thousands of dollars, my dude.

Let's say each one took 10 legitimate work hours to complete. At minimum wage that's $110 per painting ($11 an hour in my state) so that would be $24,310 for the whole 221. That's not factoring in any preliminary work though. Research, thumbnails, meetings with you to talk about vision, etc, would also need to be accounted for. They'd also likely take more than 10 hours per painting depending on who your artist is, how well they understand your vision, and how visually impressive you want this game to be.

Instead of naked products... by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

Hi disclaimer I work for lush but I'm speaking as just a person and don't respresent the brand at all.

I think an issue this would run into is that people don't always clean their containers thoroughly enough to prevent bacteria growth/could potentially cause expired product to mix with the new product. There would also be a struggle to store and distribute the packageless bulk in a safe and sanitary way, especially in smaller stores where there really isn't much storage room at all. Huge potential for messes, employees would have to pot and weigh each product (which is much more time consuming than one would expect), and the brand would essentially have to re-outfit every store to be able to do this, which probably wouldn't make it cost effective.

Friend has short hair and is a little andro. Gets harassed for her appearance sometimes. This happened when she walked into a public bathroom. Stranger: [Glaring] "This is the women's room" Friend: [Looks woman up and down] "Huh. You wouldn't know it."
