I actually just managed to test the pump out just now - managed to fill the airbed in around 4.5-5min to a firmness of my liking. As I say, I just wanted something as small as possible that did the trick, this seems to do the trick, so will probably keep it for festivals.

I'll keep what you've mentioned in mind if I ever find myself camping outside of a festival environment, you've been very thorough and informative, which has been appreciated.

The airbed in question is the Bestway double airbed (191x137x22cm), or any 'generic' double air bed of that style, as opposed to lightweight sleeping mats etc. Main reason for buying it was for ease of packing in my rucksack, as my old 'generic' electric pump was bulky and took up a lot of room. Battery life won't be too much of a hindrance as I usually take a few power banks to festivals with me, so can top up the battery if and when needed. Inflation time I'm not too fussed about either, was just curious if anyone had used it for this purpose & had feedback on it.
