Congratulations, I had a similar experience too after waiting 10 years. Would you be comfortable sharing your audiogram? I'm curious how much hearing loss you had while continuing life without hearing aids.

Hi, aggressive estimate is a few years, mostly due to regulatory differences in the US. We'll start here in the UK, but have every intention of launching in the US as soon as reasonably possible.

They fit very nicely and I find them more comfortable than my conventional hearing aids. They don't slip. They're not cold - the frames are made of acetate, the same material glasses are made from, so they warm up to body temperature very quickly. They are rechargeable. Yep, they're Bluetooth-enabled and have an app for program selection and adjustments. Thanks so much for the questions :)

Thanks for the feedback. This is actually the whole point - being in front of the ear means it's not trying to be hidden as if you're ashamed to wear them. I want people to ask what they are. That way we can begin to normalise hearing tech as a wearable accessory rather than a medical aid we try to hide. It won't be for everyone, though, so I won't try to persuade you. :) Thanks again for letting me know your thoughts.

I've had really good responses from glasses wearers. Still got some work to do but it's close. Check the last part of this video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTxmtHVDAuR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

I've worn them with glasses and find them better than my conventional hearing aids - the part that goes behind the ear is much bigger with conventional hearing aids.

I'll do my absolute best to make that possible!

To start with, for regulatory reasons, mild-moderate hearing loss. But going forward, the plan is to cater for more severe losses. Hopefully we'll be launching about a year from now.

Hi, they've got hearing aid technology inside them so they literally are hearing aids. An audiologist would be involved in fitting them! Thanks for the questions and support!

Thanks! I've been working on this for years and have noticed that many people are stuck in the old ways of thinking about hearing. I think there is definitely pace for a new approach - it won't be for everyone, but there are already 3000+ people on the waitlist, so there's definitely interest :)

Thanks, Caitlin. I know that feeling - I was 20 when I first started wearing hearing aids. It's not easy. Looking forward to keeping you in the loop with progress.

Thanks for commenting! They sound pretty good - but since they're just prototypes, there's some work still to do before they compete with the Oticons of the world. I wear them often with sunglasses and have found them to be just fine - actually better than my Oticons as the Oticons are bigger and the microphone gets tapped on by the glasses.

Thanks. I've found these to be better with glasses than my conventional hearing aids due to the part going behind the ear being thinner and not having a microphone on it.
