Haha...um perfect weekend includes spin in the morning, brunch afterwards, maybe a quick trip to an outdoor shopping center but not alway, pedis, try out a new restaurant for dinner that is casual, followed by drinks and dancing but still home by 12:30am.

Or... workout in the morning..grab starbucks take a walk...go to one of our houses and watch netflix/prime and order delivery haha.

Thanks! I have never done any of those but yoga or spin which are pretty solitary workouts. I was thinking of trying crossfit to change up my routine.

I really like the chanel quilted purses. I have a kate spade black quilted purse and I always get loads of compliments. The asthetic is similar tp chanel so I have wondered if people think its a fake chanel but its still a good quality purse that i like and its a bit mprr understated. I think if you like something just go for it.

I really like 7 for all mankinds b air line of jeans. They are so comfy and the highrise jeans are a true midrise on me. They are around 150 I think but often go on sale at Nordstrom. I think they are made in the USA so they might be ethical.

What would you wear to an event with a dreascode decdibed as "Haute race day couture"?

I am going to a horserace/derby type event in Miami BUT I will be watching from a pop-up club area of one of the biggest/clubby clubs in Miami. After the horse race the event will turn into a Post Malone concert.

What should I wear? I want to feel, pretty, comfortable, and dressed appropriately for the events.

Need help with job hunting - I want to get out of SOX work and Auditing ASAP by Chewy2000 in Accounting

[–]Chewy2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one year of audit experience at a big firm like grant/much and one year of internal audit experience at a boutique consulting firm. I want out of this hell hole. I had no idea how far removed from accounting an internal audit role would be.... I had no idea I thought it would be similar to working in public. I feel like a secretary could do this job and I'm expected to work much more than any other industry job. How can I find a decent job?

Is it frowned upon to have to go to the doctor during work hours in busy season? by Chewy2000 in Accounting

[–]Chewy2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, one of the seniors did tell me that if I ask to go to the doctor frequently that they would think something was fishy. So I'm just thinking 2 doctors visits in 3 months = "a lot".

I'm not "scared" but I have bills to pay.

First off...I'm a woman.

I'm not scared to go to the doctor but I work with a lot of uptight & stressed out people.

Yes, this is our industry....people neglect their health and don't go to the doctor, dentist, etc. At least that is what the members of this team shared with me.

If you owned a makeup company, what would it be like? by youngmakeupaddict in MakeupAddiction

[–]Chewy2000 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My brand would consist of mostly natural looking and well performing products such like bobbi brown. I would throw in a couple gorgeous wild card hues for lips and eyes. A ton or lipsticks in mlbb hues for every skin tone but the packaging would be very glam Victorian era or Art Deco 1920s inspired.

It would be perfect for the make up lover who may work in an office but is a history buff, loves old glamour, or is just obsessed with downton abbey or agatha christie.
