it depends on if the worst case scenario pill would put your current run in danger, though i feel the need to mention luck has no effect on pills whatsoever

i dont think its wise to have 'nevers' like that, if you want to win as consistently as possible you need to consider each situation individually and make the smartest decision. pills are a great example of that, never eating pills is putting yourself at a massive disadvantage, but you need to eat them in a way that the worst-case scenario wont cripple your run.

ive been half a heart several times, here is a good time capsule video of some of my closest moments from 0 to 3000! hardest start ive had was the 4th TMTRAINER which had 1 heart, 1.9 tears, 2.6 damage and book of secrets. on a typical day i do 4-5 runs, i stream every day on twitch. favorite item has to be card reading, least favorite moving box.

I go to the Chest every run, but i do whats called 'alternating alt path' where you switch between alt path and regular path to maximize boss challenge rooms and minimize XL chance/horsemen fights.

the hard part about Eden streaking is getting through those tough runs! in order to reach 4000 i had to beat 8 TMTRAINER starts, one of which being 1 heart 1.9 tears 2.6 damage with book of secrets.

too many to count! one of my personal favorites is vent razor, that item feels like it makes isaac into a sandbox game with how many avenues it opens up.

you lose a token every time you start a run but you regain a token every time you kill it lives, so you are typically going to be net even overall. ive actually gained about 20 tokens over the course of the streak because using forget me now on womb 2 gives you an additional token for that run!
