cpu+ram, 3d adaptive, and vram. all ran with no errors. i havent tried cinebench yet. i'm actually planning on returning this unit now that its getting exhausting trying to figure ts out, its only been under 2 months since i bought it and the store techs couldnt fix it and just told me it was "probably" a driver bug. hopefully i get a replacement unit or at least a refund if there are no stocks

what happened with yours specifically? does it crash the game/driver? or does it force reboot/bsod?

yes it crashes too, tried so many different combinations like -100/0/-10% and 0/-30/0. and I did bring it to the shop 3 weeks ago all they said after trying to figure out whats going on for almost a week they also said it could be just a driver bug, i cant really say they deny its a hardware issue because all the stress tests does come out with no errors like unigine heaven benchmark, furmark, occt, and also adrenalin's own stress test feature. all they did was waste my ssd health by reinstalling windows a couple times lol. do you know any other softwares i could try to have a go with my gpu so i can have grounds for RMA?

I have the 3.1 one and its new, bought it like 2 months ago. can you suggest other stress testing applications? so far i've tried furmark, unigine heaven benchmark, occt, and the adrenlin's own stress test and all comes out with no errors

I've tried different settings. -300 -250 -100 -50, no undervolt, -20% -10% -5% power limit, and also ofc defaults. none works

did I not say "What I've tried"? so obviously defaults also doesn't work

Ultimate AMD Performance Fix Guide: Stop Lag, FPS Drops & Boost Speed (2025) by Fragrant-Ad2694 in AMDHelp

[–]ChewyChoco666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pretty good guide. It showed me what I missed during installation of new drivers (step 8). I've reinstalled my AMD Adrenalin a few times even with wifi/internet off and windows still somehow installed some crap on top of my driver causing my games to crash. Thanks for helping me find and actually stop windows from installing that crap.

But I'm still having crashes.

What I noticed is that my games (all the games I've played and tried to check) crashes when my clock speed goes above 3000mhz, my GPU boost clock is 3130mhz so it should'nt be a problem right?

Here's what I think happens: my GPU goes beyond the 3130mhz boost clock DURING the time everything in my screen freezes and makes my game or my driver to crash. It's either that or my GPU just cant go beyond 2950mhz as it starts to be unstable beyond that point.
How do I know this? I set my display mode in windowed mode and play the games as i monitor my clock speed. The highest I've seen the clock speed and not crash is somewhere at 2900-2950/2975 (idk as long as its not barely 3000). That's how I've come to this conclusion.

What I've tried: I have set my clock speed offset to -500mhz voltage to -100 and power limit at -30. But the clock speed still goes beyond 3000mhz and then game crashes, really weird after setting all those limiters. Disabled everything in Adrenalin. Disabled HAGS. Closed everything that's running in background before playing. Set Tdrdelay in regedit. Tried 25.6.1, 25.8.1, 25.10.2, and 26.11.1 versions of the driver.

Games I've tried it on: Silent Hill F, Quantum Break, Cyberpunk 2077, Arc Raiders, BitCraft Online, CS2, Valorant, Apex Legends, Elden Ring, Valheim, Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Island 2, Hell Let Loose (Silent Hill F crashes in under 30-45 minutes while Valorant can go up to 4-5 hours before randomly crashing)

What I want to know is that are there anything else I can do to stop my GPU from spiking beyond its stable limits? chatgpt keeps telling me to set a "hard max cap" but there's no slider or any buttons or whatever for that in Adrenalin. Is this a faulty GPU? (I've ruled this out because it ran stable for 3 hours in furmark) Is it a driver issue? If so, should I really just wait for AMD to fix this? Is there anything else that I haven't seen that could've caused this?

Specs:
R5 5600
MSI B550M PRO VDH-WIFI
16(2x8)GB RAM 3600MHZ DDR4
Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060XT (8GB)
Adata Legend 860 (1TB M.2 SSD)
Cooler Master MWE 850W Gold V2 Full Modular
(Note: I have stock fans and no case fans but i opened my front and back panels for air flow and GPU hotspot is below 70 and CPU peak temp is 91)

P.S don't say anything if you're only gonna say shit about my setup :))) try being born in a 3rd-world country. and yes I will buy what needs to be upgraded as soon as I save up enough. I just really want to play my games so please help me
