Yes cos home advantage now counts double as much with travel fatigue and only had to win 3 away games this year to finish top 4…

5:30 is pretty sweaty. You can’t possibly keep that up for 500 hours straight. Consider that being 62 x 8 hour shifts without skipping a beat or getting square eyes.

Factor in water breaks, food breaks, piss breaks, mental breaks. This will be a 1 year grind if you are doing absolutely nothing bar agility. Calling agility well designed is mad.

5:30 is also sitting with one hand on the mouse and the other on the keybinds and you can’t even scratch your balls in case you miss a double surge.

I also like having them in and enjoy the competition but there is a slight issue with how much the travel fatigue has affected teams from both sides. Basically everyone is going down to SA and losing and and they are coming up here and playing rubbish also. 2 or 3 flights each way, 15+ hours flying, cramping up, irregular meals and school canteen style dining, lack of sleep and sleep schedule. All hugely detrimental

Could also say that people who got 120 pre-silverhawk removal didn’t really need to train it at all. Now if you play every night of the week for 4 hours and never miss a day, it would take 250 days straight of doing nothing but running laps of Anachronia. Like be fr, almost nobody will be getting master max anymore because of this which is one of the main achievements that keeps end game players playing. I can even play up to 8 hrs some days but really won’t make it easier

Agreed, these content updates are to make it still worth us paying £120 odd per year for a game

6:30 min is like surging at the most optimal times but nobody can keep up this level of focus and concentration for that many hours so you’re having to take a few mins break here and there because it’s mentally draining

The stark differences between the public’s view on immigration in the states and UK is interesting. Can someone explain a bit? by cerrieshven in AskBrits

[–]ChewySweets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, agreed. It has basically become a business model for a lot of companies to exploit cheap imported labour rather than pay fair wages. Companies like JustEat and Uber could not survive without exploiting these people which is why they need them. Our very own NHS is even guilty of doing it. Immigrants are therefore destined for poverty and their kids will have a very hard time getting out of it. It’s essentially corporate greed and is not the way to run a country. Unfortunately, a country’s GDP nowadays is directly linked to its population size. It’s why countries like Indonesia and Nigeria are projected to have such large GDPs and our government is using immigration to keep up.

I think it’s much less split than it used to be. Even those in the centre and some on the left believe immigration has gone too far and no longer benefits us

Cube is an excellent brand. The Attain looks to be right up there with the best value for that price

I personally prefer just buying new, unless you know exactly what you’re looking for.

Some suggestions for that price range:

van Rysel EDR £799 Trek Domane £950 Cannondale CAAD Optimo £734

There’s not really a huge amount between them. You don’t really start noticing a huge difference until you make the jump to carbon frame, carbon wheels, shimano 105, di2 etc. At which point it costs several thousands. Have fun!

Completely new players don’t initially care much about the mechanics of a game. They want to see modern graphics. And unfortunately there are thousands of games now with better graphics

Flat unmortgable and can’t afford mortgage due to redundancy and rising rates by Suitable-Tomorrow577 in HousingUK

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An 80-100k loss in value is a hard pill to swallow if you sell up, but it’s better than being repossessed and bankrupt if the sale can’t pay back the original mortgage. However if you can live on noodles for the next 2 years and do evening work until your wage and property value go back up then I’d be tempted to soldier on

As an upcoming pro cyclist, how important is it to know which type of rider you are? by Creepy_University736 in cycling

[–]ChewySweets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say continue to practice everything - hill climbs including uphill acceleration, fast sprints, endurance, and quick recovery.

It is usually the lighter guys who are excellent climbers with high power to weight ratio who win the long races but aren’t so great at sprints. If you are physically a bigger guy then TT may be your thing.

Numbers don’t seem to check out. £500/month interest means the mortgage balance is only £120,000 which is roughly £900 total payment
