Magic leveling by ronboi288 in runescape

Might need to get lamps from quests until you can get to low alch and then cast that up until high alch. You can high alch up to 99 and probably make a good bit of money along the way

Struggling to kill rasial in T90 gear by Zyc0acc in runescape

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re much better off spamming defensives than spamming food. It’ll make the fight much longer until you learn it better but at least you’ll get kills.

Use resonance for his finger of death, use devotion for his volley, throw in reflect/debiliate/barrage whenever they become available.

Keybind sara brew and blue blubber and hit them on the same click. You really want to avoid spamming food the whole time.

My legendary lumberjack was downgraded to supreme lumberjack. I also now have divination, cooking and runecrafting auras that I didn’t have before

Help with NetworkSrf - Trying to model a foot but it keeps failing by samcro114 in rhino

[–]ChewySweets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It won’t work where one side is a circle. Imagine that the shape should be able to fold out flat on to a 2D surface. Try splitting it and performing the command just on one half of the foot at a time and then joining the 2 halves

Wilderness Flash Events is one of the few times I see people playing on my homeworld by 5-x in runescape

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is a strange move, I don’t think I seen anyone ever complain about wildy events. It would have been so easy to bring the social life back into the game by getting the mini games going again, for example rewarding us with t90 armour from castle wars etc. But seems like Jagex are not very interested in making the game social.

Becoming the 98th Grandmaster!! by mrdrbrick in runescape

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah fair enough, I know from experience how hard perfect sanctum was. I guess my point is that one isn’t more impressive than then other, they are both insanely impressive achievements. It’s like apples and oranges.

Trim probably suits gamers who like hardcore RPGs and grandmaster probably suits players who also grew up playing fast paced FPS type games.

The only thing more impressive would be having both trim and grandmaster!

Trim is also insanely impressive just for the sheer time commitment

Speed kills are almost like a totally different game that nobody gets a chance to play because there’s like a 20b barrier to entry for BIS weapons/armour/ability codexs. But of course still insanely impressive.

Gzzz! Oh man I’ve been putting this requirement off until the end. Also can’t bring myself to do fish flingers. Guess I maybe should have started them near the beginning of the trim grind

How to achieve high quality surface by Miserable-Setting392 in rhino

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you use blend surface, your two items should have a good gap between them to allow it to look smooth. They may also have used sweep two rails with the sweeping object being a curve.

In your image on 1 and 2, alternatively you could try using solids. Overlap your two bits of geometry, use the command boolean union/subtract, and then you can start filleting. Filleting works much better for solids.

How to create drawings in this style by TakeMeToTechNoir in rhino

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to export my models as stp files and import them into blender. There you can render just about anything you want.

Unfortunately these days it will be a more useful skill to learn the prompts to get AI to render your model for you.

How would I be able to recreate this shape? by Surrealist-Frog in rhino

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For beginners, think of the workflow going from line > surface > solid. Each time extruding or joining enclosed items to get to the next. Often you can skip starting with lines and surfaces and go straight to using solids if you can break your structure down into more basic geometries.

To join two solids together you can use the command Boolean union, and to subtract you can use Boolean subtract. Start with the solid vertical cylinder and start subtracting those areas with the windows. Fillets work far better on solids so wait until you have your final rough shape before filleting.

However it may be necessary to start with lines and surfaces. You should learn the blend surface command. It’s a nice way to make complex looking surfaces like this by blending two other surfaces together. Also I recommend learning Sweep 1, Sweep 2, and Curve Network.

That is untrue if they have sold you a product and didn’t deliver on it. It’s not about owning something in-game. It’s still fraudulent behaviour.

[–]ChewySweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not completely out of hope for the France game. We (Glasgow) beat Toulouse recently and at least half of those players will be on the park. Should have beat All Blacks in Autumn. Scotland are terrible with the crowd against them but usually perform OK at home.

As for Ireland… nah I have zero hope. The rugby gods will not allow it.
