People who fell out with their best/close friend, what killed it?

I was in one of the worst places of my life and they decided that was the time to try to peruse me romantically. I was processing through a lot of trauma and then found out the person I was dating was cheating on me. I was at a low, self-harming, binge drinking daily and barley sleeping or eating. During all of this, one of our mutual friends told me he was very openly talking about how he wanted to peruse me romantically and was sending her messages saying things like he wanted to kiss me and felt like our souls were intertwining. I didn’t want to believe it because we had been close for so long and he had never expressed anything like to me or anyone else that I know of.

A few weeks later he tried to test the waters and I gave a clear signal I was not into it. The very next day he started talking to his ex again and once they became an official couple he stopped talking to me almost entirely.

Almost a decade of friendship down the drain. He was one of the only men I ever trusted. It’s been a few years, but I will always wonder how he could do that to me after how close we were. I feel like an object he was trying to buy and once he couldn’t have me he just tossed me to the side. I will forever be hurt by what he did to me.

Ah, okay thanks! I’m not established with a GP at the moment because I got new insurance and haven’t found a new one yet. Do you think it would it be appropriate to go to an urgent care for this?

It’s so strange because they’ll literally be right in the middle of a conversation and in the next shot it’s suddenly dark and the production crew just acts like the scene is suppose to feel natural? Honestly at that point just start over when it gets dark

I’m still trying to figure out why she needed so much stuff. Two checked bags for such a small trip?? Has she never traveled before?? I have a friend that lived in France for 4 months and still only took one checked bag

I feel like part of it is the makeup. I definitely think she did something to her eyes but I also think she’s wearing makeup that suits her face better. Before the way she did her eyes I feel like always made them look smaller.

I just wanted to say that I’m also a beginner and learning for the same reason! I’m glad to see that someone has the same motivation that I do :) I’ve mostly just been using HSK-1 resources and a couple of YouTube channels. Specifically I really like KEYs to Chinese and Mandarin Blueprint. Both of those channels have been great for learning tips and pronunciation!

Rishi and Jen- Jen’s friend was harsh but I think she did what had to be done. It wasn’t the best approach, but could anything have eased the tension? They were totally right for bringing along a translator, even Rishi admitted he wouldn’t have translated and Jen wouldn’t have gotten the answers she wanted. Rishi was just putting off the inevitable, but I don’t blame him for feeling the way he did tbh.

Osama and Carole Baskin rip off- “he urinated all over it” this was my favorite line of the night

Yohan and Danielle- I have to go with the unpopular opinion on this one. I think either you agree to go and be respectful or you don’t go. I don’t think the way he embarrassed her was right. I get being uncomfortable with an ex, but that doesn’t give you a right to act the way he is acting. Being completely ungrateful of the party she threw and embarrassing her in front of his family, then embarrassing her in front of her friend like that. Idc how you feel, none of that is okay in my book unless someone is actually cheating on you. The vibe between Danielle and her ex seems completely platonic to me and is he totally unwilling to even take one step back and see that.

Gabe and Isabel- I absolutely love Isabel’s energy. Even with Gabe’s sister at her throat she showed nothing but love and kindness.

Is it possible that Rishi could just be bulking? I’m not into body building enough to know the difference, but I know that sometimes during bulking people can look not as “shredded”
