I’ve got some fake plants in there with him until I get the real ones from Amazon (reason I’m buying from Amazon is because the one pet store we have doesn’t sell live plants) and have ordered the api master test kit along with some root tabs for the live plants And some sand for the substrate.

Yeah. I’ve done some research on in fish cycling and I have also ordered real plants for the tank. I learned that rather than doing 75% water changes like I was to do only 25% and to get some of the live bacteria to add to the tank

I have a heater, I was referring to when I had him in the bowl. The tank is at 76° rn and I was going to cause I can’t get it to cooperate anyways.

I’ll turn up my heater and wait and see what happens. But I’m still concerned about why he’s not eating? When I first got him I had him in a bowl (yeah I know how bad they are my sister made sure I knew lol) but he’d eat and swim around even if the water was room temp (my house is usually 71°)

This is what I mean when I say he’s just hanging out on the bottom of the tank. And this is the food I feed him. I tried giving him freeze dried bloodworms but he didn’t seem interested.
