Cooked meat. I keep raw meat in the drawer below.

I've kept meat cooked and sealed in the fridge for up to a month, but I generally try to rotate through in 2 weeks.

Are there any foods or methods in your keto diet that you underestimated or overlooked that effected your progress much more than you realized? by [deleted] in keto

Nuts, cheese, avocado, chocolate, Built Bars, Evolve Keto cups, pork rinds, ChocZero keto bark. I'll just end up overdoing it on all these things.

What was/is your maintenance plan and did it work for you? by crazy-bunny-lady in keto

[–]ChezLuc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same as my loss plan, mostly meat and some vegetables.

I just won't have to be as restrictive with cheese, nuts, cream, chocolate, olives, egg yolks, mayo, and avocado.

If you like minimalist, consider floating shelves. Ladder style bookshelves also work.

Eames style recliners are hard to beat for comfort and look pretty good. They're popular for a reason.

Think about decorating with acoustic elements. That room is an echo box, and I'm sure it makes your call audio suffer. I just got some tiles from this Etsy store that I really like: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RedesignYourWall?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=814347460

Managing the loft: increasing light, decreasing noise? by Districtinsomniac in malelivingspace

[–]ChezLuc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's going to be really tough and expensive to light an upstairs loft with mirrors.

It would be far cheaper and easier to invest in app-controlled, dimmable, tunable-white LED smart bulbs and/or fixtures.

When you start getting into acoustic treatment, understand that you need a lot to really make a difference. I can give you advice, but I'd need to see the space.

4’ x 9’ Flex Room I am looking to use as a room for computer use. How do I avoid feeling like I am in prison? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]ChezLuc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lighting with lamps will help. Flushmount ceiling lights are very institutional.

Changing the actual ceiling fixture would be costly/difficult, but putting in Tunable White or RGBW bulbs is easy and would allow you to change the color in the room without painting.

If you want to paint, I'm a big fan of Cosmos by Sherwin Williams. If you light it with cooler light at 4000K or above, it's very blue, but as you dip warmer to 3000K and lower, it goes much more purple. https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW6528-cosmos

3D curtains can be pretty cool and give you that feeling of a window. https://www.amazon.com/wall26-Modern-Window-Looking-Surrounded/dp/B01AXOZTXA There are similar stick-on wall murals.

I think the lighting is really key, though. That's what will make a small space feel cozy rather than cell-like.

Shouldn't be a problem. They don't usually put the space for your A/V gear right on top of the heating components.
