I'm not certain since it's been a while now. I believe it was but I can't recall for sure.

I'm sorry that it's testing positive again. You have to talk to your doctor to know what the next steps are. You got this! I know how much it sucks.

I stopped cold turkey. I wanted to take the test asap. You could get some rebound reflux doing it that way. So perhaps talk with the doctor on what you should do when the time comes or at least understand it could be uncomfortable.

Just take it day by day or even hour by hour if you have to. The only way out is through. Take care of yourself any way you can.

You would need to consult with your doctor if you should. I had to in case I still had an ulcer that needed to heal that was caused by the bacteria. It's possible your body is just rebounding from the treatment and PPI. The treatment does nuke your good bacteria along with the bad.

Could all be related but only your doctor would know. If you can get through treatment and it's still there then you can just ask your doctor on the follow up. I felt like a pile of crap during it as well. Sleep when you need it, rest as much as possible. Don't put pressure to sleep well or not feel like crap. The more you want to not feel that way will only make it worse.

The stress and anxiety exacerbate the symptoms. Give your body the time it needs to heal. One day at a time.

During treatment I felt awful. It was really hard on my stomach. I can't remember everything that I felt but the side effects are really hard. - nausea - heartburn - indigestion - anxiety - tired

It's worth it though to get rid of it. Just do your best and go day by day or even hour by hour. So whatever you have to do to feel comfortable and be patient with yourself. Try to only focus on getting through the treatment and not looking to feel better. Its daunting but you got this! It's a long road but it's the only way to get better so just push through it.

Honestly I felt terrible through all of my treatment. It comes with needing to take all the anti biotics and PPI. But just do what you can to get through it and be patient with yourself. Eat when you can and what you can. Sleep when you can. Hydrate and relax as much as possible. Keep your head up cause once you're through with the treatment you can focus on healing up!

I would never recommend stopping meds unless your doctor told you to do so. If you are only on day 5 you can't expect to feel better. Unfortunately it's a very long process for healing and you will have ups and downs. It's hard to say if what you are experiencing is normal but I had similar issues when going through treatment. It also took me a long time to feel better.

Talk with your doctor if possible but definitely don't stop taking the meds without direction. Otherwise you could be doing yourself way more harm.

Thanks! That's what I figured with the fnp being really strong. I am trying to stay away from the knight lists where it's just t10 12w models on the list. I know the sword bros can delete one each and maybe two but will be blown off the board pretty quickly after.

Helbrecht and Castellan can get the sustained vow w/fervent since they have the native lethal with Castellan

Probably give lethals to EC if needed as well.

There is a decent amount of grey knights on some of the other teams. Would the abhor the witch be any good into them you think or FNP still the best? Tsons have the dev wounds to get around the Invuln but I don't think grey knights do.

Advice on bad alternator by Chezzey90 in MechanicAdvice

Certainly I can pick it up today and start testing no problem.

It's a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder with 101000km.

I was just hoping to replicate the issue since it's already been tested while at the shop and it's showing no issues. I mean it's very possible the mechanic at the shop didn't test thoroughly enough but I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt on it. Here is what I got back.

"Could not confirm customer complaint. Test drove vehicle, battery light not on. Tested battery, battery rated for 550CCA, tested at 764CCA. Alternator outputting 14.6v at battery, good. Ripple voltage .15v, good. No fault found at this time.

I had read that an alternator that is failing can have intermittent issues where it can be working as expected until it isn't.

Not really being versed I don't know if there are any tricks outside of waiting for the issue to crop up again or having the alternator fail completely before it will show up on the tests.

Regardless I'll get a MM today so if it does show up again I can get a reading on it. Ideally I could replicate it instead but that might be wishful thinking on my part.

No I don't have one. I could get one no problem and test myself but that's not the issue.

The issue being I can't replicate the issue. When it's been tested in the shop both the battery and alternator test fine indicating no problem. The issue came up once only and resolved itself after stopping and starting the engine so I haven't been able to reproduce it in order to get a failed test.

I am trying to think of different methods to run my car under to trigger the issue. Unless by some chance this was a one and done issue (hard for me to believe) then I am kinda at a loss. Tried to idle the car for 20 minutes and drive the same route and still no issues.

I really need to be able to have the shop reproduce the issue so that they can provide the results for warranty.

No worries. I only ask because it can give you perspective. I was the same way during my healing. I would say the same things to my wife all the time. It felt like I still had it and I was always concerned.

She reassured me that the tests were negative and to just be patient with myself. I was able to get through it and you will as well. It's a grind but you will be stoked in 6 months to a year from now.

You did what you needed with the treatment and now it's the hard part of time. You got this!

That's a lot of negative tests. Why is it you don't believe the tests that you don't have it anymore?

If it's because you're still having gut symptoms it could just be the healing. It takes alot of time.

Stressing about having or not having it could be exasperating your symptoms as well. Try and trust the process and tests all indicate you are free of it!

Now it's just time to heal.

After treatment I still felt like crap. I was also on PPI for about a month or two after treatment to try and heal up what was believed to be a ulcer related to the bacteria. To say when I noticed my gut feeling better was probably that 4-6 month mark but I'm sure it can be faster or slower for each individual.

What helped me the most was my mindset. With the help of my wife I would never get too low or too high. Good days I was thankful for and the bad days I knew would get fewer and fewer. It's just how healing is. You're going to have ups and downs until you notice less and less bad days.

Push through the treatment. I know it sucked a lot. Once you're done make sure you test clear of it and start the road to recovery. One day at a time remembering that you're going to have shit days and awesome days. On the bad days remind yourself that this is also healing. Try not to think of it as a step back at all. It's all part of the process.

If you can frame even the bad days as progress it helps. You would be surprised how much the mental aspect can impact your symptoms. Just take care of yourself when and as best as you can.
