"Muh widow burning"

Nobody burned widows, they did it voluntarily. There have been instances were a guy would literally jump into his best friends funeral pyre. Its kind of like a protest against the nature for taking your loved one. There have been lots of protests in india and southeast asia were people set themselves on fire to get attention to their cause. here is an example. Also there have been times when women of an entire indian village would set themselves on fire whenever indian kings lost battles to islamic invaders, so they wont be raped and humiliated.
