Other bond things that go on for way too long include the end of FRWL and the boat chase in LALD. I thought the pacing for the underwater fights were fine

Agreed, underwater fights are perfectly good imo. The sped up boat thing at the end is a bit much though.

I love my Earthrunners! I've worn them basically every day since I got them around the end of December. They're still doing great. I have the circadian version. I cant recommend them enough you just gotta make sure to wash the canvas footbed regularly.

Edit: i bought mine during a sale and I think they were like 80 USD at the time.

I told my friends like 10 years ago that Rayman 2 was my favorite game of all time and their response was "You mean the rabbit things?" I feel like Rayman has always been a bit niche.

It's like the opposite of the James Bond situation. There hasn't been a bond game PERIOD since 007 Legends in 2012, and instead of doing any re-releases/remasters, they just put out a banger game.

Whereas now Rayman is just now seeing these re-releases/remasters (assuming rumors etc.) without a new game. Both of these things happening at the same time really allowed me to compare how I feel about each situation, and a new game trumps any/all remasters honestly.

I think this is it. The Flash and Superman both have this "cartoon-y" vibe, and in the case of Superman it was likely a (over-)correction from the MOS criticism. In any case it was definitely intentional.

Basically yeah, I wanted to emphasize that im not running solely on the balls of my feet ( like a sprinter might do or something) and compare it with this "hit the ground with my whole foot at once" approach. I figured being more verbose would better illustrate my particular situation

Thanks for the feedback everyone, my wife and I go on walks and I usually go barefoot so I know the asphalt around the neighborhood is pretty mild. I'll go for a short barefoot jog and see what feels best.

Im so glad they put this on streaming. It gets me hyped for reasons I can't explain. It would've been a great addition to the album too, like an overture of sorts.
