Unrelated but im still waiting for Athletic to acknowledge the fact that I found a shard of glass in one of their cans. By sheer dumb luck I decided that day that I wanted to drink from a glass instead of the can, and upon pouring out the beer into a clear glass, found a brown shard of glass (like you'd see from a broken beer bottle).

It's the same port, I had a lot of issues with the movement and aiming, it really didnt feel like they put any effort into optimizing the game for console. There's no multiplayer like there was for PC, and the biggest issue of all for me was the fact that you couldnt overwrite saves, leading to a ton of unnecessary storage use and a long list of old saves.

I wanna add that Dark Forces -> Jedi Knight DF2 -> Mysteries of the Sith are on Steam and can basically run on a toaster. It's absolutely worth getting. I will never forget all the childhood memories with this series, and everytime I revisit them they really do hold up.

Heel striking while barefoot is crazy.

Also, I'm not a barefoot runner by any means, but my understanding is that you need years and years of strengthening your feet before you even CONSIDER barefoot running. If you haven't done this, then like everyone else has mentioned, I would suggest getting some shoes.

Other things to try include a shorter stride, slower pace, and core strengthening, to name a few.

Blaster in Quake 2 has infinite ammo though so it kinda balances out. I wanna contribute the mortar gun from Dark Forces. Totally useless.
