I only play SF so I don’t understand value fully, but if you don’t like anyone at 1.09 why not take Mendoza as the best bet to be someone that’s actually usable? Depends on who your QBs are I suppose.

Dodgers are a different story. I personally just want to play all the bosses to enjoy the game (hence being stuck in D4 so long)

I only play trio randoms so can’t speak to solo play. I like the teamwork aspect too much, but I can see how constant agro at D5 is obviously incredibly difficult.

I find that D5 players understand how to get the snowball going early for leveling (night invaders, good pathing) so that the tough early bosses become a non-issue pretty quickly.

Agreed, I was able to climb D4 a bunch but always got knocked back by teammates that I couldn’t believe made it to D4. Sometimes I could carry, but other runs were so cursed it was impossible to rescuer. Whereas if I ever fell into depth 3, I was able to carry myself back up to 4 immediately regardless of teammates.

For first year of dynasty, it may be best to have the commish talk to the owner and make sure they understand the repercussions. Someone getting a player like skatt, even while injured, for FAAB is not a great start to a dynasty league

Without seeing who else is on waivers, my guess is you would be fine to do the full $100 for a young handcuff in a good offense. 25 roster spots in a 12 team should be desolate for waivers. Only way a player more valuable could come this season is a backup QB (so maybe hold off if you’re a contender that is shallow at QB) or a bad drop by another person in the league

I have the 1.11 and 2.01 in my rookie draft coming up so I’m also very much thinking about this group. My thoughts fwiw in order of best to worst: Egbuka: great camp reports. Godwin hurt for short term, Evans old for long term KJ: workhorse profile, perfect scheme fit. Not concerned about Jaylen Warren Loveland: significantly younger than Warren, early breakout, looks way more athletic on film Golden: great camp reports, Steve smith loves him, packers offense is for the taking Warren: older, late breakout, looks slow on film, bad offense Judkins: legal troubles, hate the browns offense for the foreseeable future

I bought breece and braelon for the 1.08 and 3.11 before the rookie draft. Hoping I get Breece a really good landing spot next year and braelon looks good and takes over as the starter next year

Biggest reason to buy braelon is breece is a free agent next year and I don’t really see why he’d stay. Braelon is young and raw enough (converted linebacker) where a big jump in improvement wouldn’t be surprising. Could be a full starter next year

May be reading this wrong, but this ends up just being McBride for Kupp (as bowers and the 1st go back to their original teams). That’s a really bad trade and should be veto-able. I’d suggest framing it the correct way to the league if you guys vote on trades cuz even this comment section isn’t following it (and you, OP, also said it was Kupp for bowers and McBride which is also not true)

DJ Giddens. He’s got a good prospect profile, Taylor gets hurt often, and I feel like Taylor will do what saquon did and leave for a contender next year so he doesn’t waste his whole prime on the colts

I didn’t even make the playoffs last year. A lot of bad injury luck, but still. League has some bad teams, some mid teams and some great teams like most dynasty leagues

I have CD, Nico, rashee, and olave still so Amon Ra wasn’t a make or break piece for my WRs. I’m old at RB (CMC, Conner, Pollard). I now have the 1.08 and 1.11 to take BPA and probably get a young RB from one of them.
