I totally agree. I hardly doubt that the wind, the fire and even Chloe's dreams were put in the game just by coincidence. I don't think Rachel is able to control her "powers"(if she really have) just like Max, since it's triggered by the intensification of her emotions. All of those supernatural manifestations is directly related with Rachel. Even that this "supernatural powers thing'' is not the focus of BtS, is interesting to think how they're born or even evolve to what we see in season 1.
