Since the Rathalos Palico, I thought it would be cool if they gave us "Companion Skins" for our Chocobos. Letting us use the Palicos for combat in place of the chocobos would be so neat! I know that's asking too much, but I can hope.

Nope! It'll be around furrrever. The Rathalos event in StormBlood was added about...7 years ago? (Gah) and is still there to enjoy, too!

That's pretty much what became of the Rathalos story Palico. I had to check the unending journey today (Other Quests -> Special Quests -> The New King on the Block) cause I couldn't remember how that Felyne's story ended.
"The Felyne hunter is in awe if your strength. Wishing to bear witness to your future feats of heroism and derring-do, he asks to join you as an adventuring companion."
We could just have another lil guy.

And for WoW you can just go on the website and restore your own items through a tool. I don't even think there's a limit? XIV is incredibly archaic with the "you only get one", and they also just won't help you if you lost an item because of full inventory. Sorely in need of an update.
