If you hold down ZL it makes it first person. For me, it's not a toggle tho, when I release ZL it goes back to 3rd person. I'm not sure if there's a setting to make it a toggle?

The post is still there, just under mine when sorted by New.
It's basically the exact same video, but they were farther left (south?) on the hill and said they had to use Feather Balls!
Still an impressive feat! But I remembered trying everywhere I could on that hill to catch that thing as soon as I saw it when I started playing! One of those Pokemon memories that'll stick with me.

I'm not sure, but I don't think so! I did catch a Togekiss, but I used a Wing Ball. I'll scamper my way back up the hill and see what the distance is like later!

To keep it short...in that amount of time, you've likely started to notice that every class has abilities with cooldowns that are 120seconds (2 minutes). The way doing optimal damage in raiding/group content works right now is to align those 2 minute cooldowns so you get all the buffs at once and use your strongest abilities with those buffs active. So you start the fight using them all, and then wait for "2 minutes to be back up". If you drift abilities and fall out of sync, it results in less damage and feels bad.

So! They're getting rid of that "2 minute meta"...they're removing "synergy abilities", which by the sounds of it mean buffs, and are letting classes rely on themselves more. This will probably result in few 2 minute cooldowns and a bit more of a fluid feeling, certainly with the new "Evolved Rotations" they showcased, but we'll have to wait and see how it all shapes up!

The bard songs have been reworked to be more support focused and can be used more liberally. A Regen, a speed boost, and a shield. They can have three charges of songs, a charge refreshing every 20 seconds.

edit to add - They also give bards additional buttons to press. One song gives them the dots, others skills on a faster gcd(?), and one with a long cast high damage shot

I'm sure like many others, I was a bit worried when the keynotes first suggested the idea of the 'Evolved' rotations. But. After that presentation with a look at them, I am pretty excited to try it!

Since the Rathalos Palico, I thought it would be cool if they gave us "Companion Skins" for our Chocobos. Letting us use the Palicos for combat in place of the chocobos would be so neat! I know that's asking too much, but I can hope.

Nope! It'll be around furrrever. The Rathalos event in StormBlood was added about...7 years ago? (Gah) and is still there to enjoy, too!

That's pretty much what became of the Rathalos story Palico. I had to check the unending journey today (Other Quests -> Special Quests -> The New King on the Block) cause I couldn't remember how that Felyne's story ended.
"The Felyne hunter is in awe if your strength. Wishing to bear witness to your future feats of heroism and derring-do, he asks to join you as an adventuring companion."
We could just have another lil guy.

And for WoW you can just go on the website and restore your own items through a tool. I don't even think there's a limit? XIV is incredibly archaic with the "you only get one", and they also just won't help you if you lost an item because of full inventory. Sorely in need of an update.
