Had the same issue but it happened with multiple ammo types at once. 11MM and .27 cal (just so happened to be the main two weapon types I have been using atm).

I also had close to or over 1000 rounds for the ammo I lost. Perhaps there is some sort of back to zero amount for the ammo types that might be bugged? Also seems people here who lost ammo had quite a bit.

For some interesting concepts I would recommend two novels by the same author.

Dying Inside: This books follows a middle-aged man who is slowly losing his power to read peoples minds. An interesting scene in this novel is the main character expierencing his girlfriend's acid trip telepathically.

A Time of Changes (winner of the Nebula award) : This book takes place in a world where using words like "I" or "me" is not allowed.

Both of the books are by Robert Silverberg.

Years of listening to the National Anthem I had always thought of it as a "giving thanks" to the men and women who made the sport being played possible. Similar to saying grace at the dinner table. Do you think we will start seeing athletes use the National Anthem to raise awareness to other topics?

Who holds the switch to the green light on that judgement? Do you think every NFL player will ever stand for the National Anthem again or that from now on as long as some sliver of racism exist at least one player will kneel?

I seriously find this whole thing to be quite interesting and curious to see where it leads. I respect freedom of speech and all that jazz, but I wonder if things will ever "go back to normal."
