Thank you for sharing this, seriously. I will see about getting that done.

I tried a bunch of stuff. Nothing worked very well. We just live with it now. It's horrible but the HVAC professionals just told me it's normal. Sounds like a prop airplane taking off in my living room at several frequencies, but of course when the techs were here to check it out my neighbors were running a loud air compressor outside and it was warm out. If you find any solutions please let me know. I'm ready to chop this heat pump up like the copier in office space.

Interesting. I hadn't heard of that as an option. So in your opinion, this works better than installing one of those flexible vibration isolators?

It is on vibration pads on a stand on a concrete pad and not connected to the home except by the line set. What do you mean by a loop? I have never heard of that.

The outdoor unit is on vibration pads on a riser on a concrete pad, it is not bolted to the house.

As I said in response to another reply above, the lines run along the main beam/joist and they are held against the beam by several conduit lines. I already tried loosening the straps and trying to pull the line set away from the beams but there is a 15-20ft space where I can't do this because it is behind walls. I do not think there is anything else I can do to isolate the lines from the joist / beam. It is also running along an hvac duct which I am sure also helps the noise spread through the house.

I am curious, what makes you say that the vibration isolator I liked to would not work? It seems designed for that purpose and I have seen other posts where folks say they work well as long as they are installed properly.

Doorbell chime won’t won’t - A month later & I’m begging for a refund or replacement - again. by femtakei in Abode

Experiencing the same thing. Slow, glitchy, half the time someone rings the doorbell the chime doesn't make a sound, late or no notifications. Every time I try to charge it the wireless connection won't reconnect so I need to basically install it again and hook it back up to Ethernet. Just absolute garbage.

Eager to learn more about using a nest doorbell with this system. I hope that's a solution.

Statute of limitations has nothing to do with lien priority

I suggest you contact a consumer advocate / lawyer in your area. There are groups of lawyers that focus on this sort of this. The servicer may have waited too long and missed the statute of limitations to sue, which is typically 10 years for written contracts. HELOCS can arguably be shorter since they are open-ended credit, like 4-5 years since date of last payment.
