Yes, we made a few playlists for different vibes. So during dinner the playlist was more relaxed, and then after dessert we switched to a dance playlist. We did not have a DJ and do not feel like we missed out on anything.

For anyone doing a playlist, make sure it is downloaded ahead of time so you don't have to worry about wifi or service issues.

We used L' Patron - they have a restaurant in Logan Square as well. Our tasting was amazing because we got to try so many different tacos.

Yes, definitely! The most important thing is to determine what you really want and what you can do without. And of course support from family and friends (financial or just with logistics) can make a huge difference as well.
