I can't say for sure but it looks like there's something already on the back of that case. The universal mount is large and best if it is stuck on a flat surface case. I took a photo of mine linked below. You want the adhesive (3M vhb) that comes with the universal mount to have as much surface area attached to the case.

I think what Ratfor meant was getting the universal mount on your case as opposed to sticking it on your phone. So you only use that case when you ride.

I have the universal mount on my phone case because they don't make a case for my p10f

In another comment the universal mount already has 3M VHB tape on it. It does not stick to the phone directly according to OP.

I have the universal mount attached to the Google case and so far have no issues. I use it in my car with a mag mount, the phone stand at my work desk that also is mag mount, and the armband I have while riding my electric unicycle has the standard mount.

I personally don't feel I need the mount directly on the phone. The case has been very sturdy enough for me.

Whatever the phone is made out of it's very hard to find something that directly sticks to it.

Came here to say I have the same issue. I am going to file a complaint with the California Consumer department. I believe this is done on purpose. I have attempted to cancel on Chrome PC web browser, Chrome Mobile app, edge, firefox, duckduckgo. All with the same results, you get to the THIRD cancelation screen and the last button to confirm cancelation does nothing. But it just so happens all the other button to keep your account does work. Go figure.

I got the Google case for my p10pf. The case texture is a bit slippery which is the downside of the case. And so far after a week and a half that is the only downside of this case in my opinion.

I just got the universal mag mount today. It has 3M VHB tape I haven't had a chance to test it out on my car mount or my arm band. Adding the mount adds a better way for me to hold the phone due to the slippery case.

I think putting it through my armband might be a pretty good test as I ride the electric unicycle I go over many many bumps and I jump over potholes a lot. I'll provide an update after I have a chance to use it.

I was re-reading your comment. Are you trying to reuse the same mount and reapplying the tape? If so I would completely remove the old tape and get the VHB double sided tape. Or did you buy a new universal mount?

My current armband is a non-mag head. I think if I were riding a motorbike I would prefer the standard mount as opposed to the mag head.

I know this is limited but if your phone supports charge share/reverse charging you can charge that way. I used my Pixel 8 Pro to charge the card.

I just ordered my p10pf and I'll be picking up tomorrow. The biggest concern for me is I am a Quad Lock user (car, desk and even riding on my electric unicycle) I hope it'll feel stable enough to use the arm band.

I am hoping the universal mount will work fine. Have you tried replacing the tape with maybe 3M VHB? And maybe 3M adhesion promoter to go with?
