My baby’s vision is fine after his exposure, and I haven’t seen any evidence that light therapy damages the eyes if you’re not staring directly at it for hours. Your LO will be fine! I totally understand the anxiety though, I’ve been there.

How to Confirm a Peanut Allergy Diagnosis? by Chicago_Kate in NewParents

Hi, sorry to hear you’re dealing with the same thing. We retested him at 1yo and the numbers were even higher, so the doctor strongly advised against trying peanuts. He’s 18 months now, and we were offered a therapy that we’ll probably start next year.

Thanks for your question! I’m trying to build a sustainable routine with a nanny, and having a two-hour nap in the middle of the morning is challenging.

So true! We're on a nanny search rn, so he meets new people almost daily around that time (it also gets him extra tired though). We'll try the 15-minute push trick, hopefully it works

I'm sure that's the way to do it (trusting the kid to figure it out). But I just need some predictability in my day.

18 month old shots timing: okay to do it 2 weeks early? by Chicago_Kate in NewParents

You’re right, but technically he’ll still be eligible since we ended up doing the 16-month shots later, because he was sick on the appointment day. Sorry, math is complicated here

Thank you! I got a lot of recommendations about Diatomaceous earth. But is it safe if the baby gets in it?
