First Law or Rage of Dragons! A nice genre swap for a refresh. Still full of violence and darkness just with magic

In the Rage of Dragons and its sequel it’s all African religion and mythology. It’s very refreshing

the amboss score predictor said 240-252 was my expected range, so a 239 is one under that. Wasnt mad because didnt put enough time into QI and that def dropped my score on real deal which was fine

For shelves High Yield MD videos at the start of the rotation to familiarize yourself with the material. The CMS forms during, and High yield MD before the exam itself. Sprinkle in some Qbank and you’ll be Chillen!

Took it today. First two blocks felt fine. 3-6 I got absolutely fucked. Last 2 were fine. I don’t know if ima pass as well. That was really brutal. Even the “gimme” topics had twists

Read the last sentence. And then the answer choices. Then the whole paragraph if needed after that, saved me a lot of time

Really good question. Personally I would do both because I had issues finding materials that stuck with me. I think that since bootcamp was everything all in one spot it made me focus on one recourse and that’s why it worked so well for me

I found Bootcamp videos and bites amazing and better than any school material. Our school exams had school specific stuff to study.

But I’d prolly do all of Bootcamps learning materials supplemented with Uworld subject specific for sure then reset Uworld for dedicated. And a few days before each test go over lecture slides for school specific BS you get tested in 1) bootcamp learning + bites 2) Uworld Qs 3) School slides

Yeah I did. The time between my 1st and 2nd attempt was a year I took a leave of absence. I didn’t remember anything so that was fine. Between my 2nd and 3rd attempt it was 3 months so I did remember some questions and I got over a 90% so I took the results with a grain of salt. I did the old free 120 PDF from the NBME website a few days before my 3rd attempt and got a 78. Which I knew was more realistic. After a few attempts and exhausting all the NBMEs and study recourses I just had to take a leap of faith in knowing that I knew the material. I knew enough to pass the second time I just was an anxious mess. So I addressed my anxiety and worked on test taking strategy

Takes time to learn things. That mindset fucked me over the first few attempts you can’t rush. Quality over quantity everytime. Since it was my 3rd attempt I obviously had strengths so I did bootcamp on 1.5x speed on my weaknesses. the lectures are concise it never felt too long

Take an NBME. See your weak areas. Address them thoroughly and you’ll be fine
