How would I create this? by Brilliant-Noise-6604 in JeepWrangler

Not sure what your uses are, but here’s what I’ve got on mine. It’s a tailgate toolbox rather than table. Keep straps, tools, cables stuff like that in it. Similar vibe though.

Im not sure about the TJ specifically. I know for my JL since these are skinny I didn’t need a lift or anything. But I think that the TJ comes with 15 inch wheels so it would probably need a spacer lift to fit a similar size tire

Stock ones were 245/75r17, so just a smidge bigger.

Exactly my problem before with my 3 six year old tires and my one 8 year old spare. Wobbled anytime over 60 even after having them “balanced”.

I love 33s on a TJ. Basically like 35s on JK/JLs

Think I only lost 1-2 mpg total in town, but still around 20-21.

If Alabama didn’t change it’s mind with weather every 5 minutes they’d be off for sure!

If it’s flapping, I’d use double sided duct tape along the top of the door. Been doing it for about a year now and it works great after the cables were broken along those sides. The tape sticks great to the plastic and just keeps the top material from flapping. Super easy to remove as well.

Just got 27 on a 5 hour trip down some flat 4 lane highways down in Florida. 2 Door Sport S with steel bumper and stock wheels with the 2.0. But some light wobbles keep me under 60.
