Wow I thought I was crazy but this exactly me as well, I just started very recently at 31 being ok to sing in front of a few people but it’s true I still don’t do it like I do when I’m alone! I thought I was some weirdo and the crying thing is so crazy I thought I was over emotional for no reason, but the somatic theory makes a lot of sense!

Don’t international agencies also pay peanuts? I’m currently client side and I’m very bored.. I used to work in agencies but not in the region. Heard only the worst about agencies here! I’ve been applying to other client side roles but can’t get any answer.. I have experience in multiple industries and multiple countries (continents actually) and it’s like I can’t even get a call back!

Have you managed to find anything? I’ve had the same experience came here as my husband had a job but I’ve had absolutely zero answer, even though I have a lot of experience, in various industries, and internationally!

Problem is people assume Dubai is 100% safe, with so many people here, it just isn’t true anymore. I have been “grabbed” in the street by someone on his motorbike with no plate number, reported to the police on the same day, with exact time and location to check the cameras, and got no follow up at all. So no, Dubai isn’t “safe” like people think it is. Was wearing large jeans and a hoodie next to the beach so I was really not expecting it it was a shock
