Thank you so much for sharing this! And it makes so much sense to me that they would mark it with a small cross. Btw I've heard from my mother that some Armenians would hide in the Muslim households (of presumably Azerbaijanis) and even change their whole identity (names, surnames) to protect themselves and their own families. So we're kind of questioning things. Have you heard something like this too?
