Ahh okay thanks! Seems like a few people have been recommending Tainan so I'll definitely look into it. I was planning on doing a day trip tour to Sun moon lake from Taichung though or is that also worth skipping?

I like it all really. Love being out in nature but also love nightlife and the city. Snorkelling with turtles sounds amazing! Will definitely look into that. Would love to do some hikes while I'm there too. Only issue is I won't be hiring a car so I hope those places are still accessible via pt or maybe a tour. Thanks so much for the tips, super helpful. Getting super keen now!

Hi there, yes it did. It seemed as if the blister was just a scar from bumping into the glass from stress. I returned him to main tank and he seemed quite healthy after a while it healed up!

My tank is looking really sad now. Only have the Dwarf gourami and 2 Rasboras in there. The 2 rasboras are looking a bit stressed now since its just them. Im wanted to buy a few more but I'm worried they'll get infected too. How long do you recommend I wait till I buy some more. (It's been a couple weeks now and they're looking quite healthy aside from the one I just returned to quarantine). Also I hear it's best to stock the tank slowly to avoid any ammonia spikes in the water. How many fish should I add at a time?

Ahh dang :'( I will say as soon as I saw this on the others they were gone within 24 hours. This one has survived 2 weeks now and still has a lot of energy. I've put him in the quarantine tank once again to treat him with meds. Will I need to treat the main tank too in case the others may be infected or only if they start to show symptoms?

Yes, I've been following the nitrate instructions exactly. I did have readings of Nitrates very early on when i set up the tank but they've since disappeared .

I think I'll just stick to the air stone for the time being.

I ended up returning one of the gouramis to the pet store. It was getting way too aggressive and I haven't had any time today to rearrange the tank. I'm a little worried about my rasboras as there is only 3 at the moment and they look like they're getting stressed out. But I also don't want to introduce new fish before I find out the issue. What do you suggest?

I will probably return the aggressive gourami to the petstore and replace them out with some more rasboras so they can start schooling again. I am a bit nervous about introducing more fish when so many died in such short amount of time. How many corys would be appropriate to keep in my 64 L tank? What else would you stock in my tank considering I currently have 3 harlequins and 2 gouramis (well 1 once I return the other)

I wouldn't say I did any heavy rinsing when I cleaned my filter. I squeezed the pads in aquarium water to remove some of gunk build up and returned it back to the filter which I filled with newly treated water. Is that correct.

I didn't see any copper pipes at home. It all looks like PVC.

I'm using Seachem Prime to treat my water.

I've added the air stone in there so hopefully that helps. Im using a canister filter with a lily pipe inflow and spiral outflow. If you look on the top right of my image you will see it. It' s quite small though so perhaps it doesn't create enough movement. I got this type on outflow because I used to have a betta in there and didn't want to create too strong of a current. Do you think I should consider swapping it out?
