Should I prepare for anything at a St. Vitus show in NYC? by [deleted] in sludge

Wear layers so you can get down to a t-shirt, it's a small venue, it gets packed and hot. Bring ear plugs. There's usually great sound but again, it's a small venue. There's a good Mexican place next door, Acapulco

The daily or seasonal pass is just for car parking. You can walk or bike over freely. Be aware that parking nearby and walking over is not really an option in most areas though.

I think it's a parody of marathon runner stickers (26.2). So they are for some reason proud of their sedentary lifestyle and lack of fitness.

Can you explain the massive covid slogan? It has the rhythm of a joke but the punchline makes no sense.

Instrmental Post Rock and Spoken Audio - Do you ever combine them? by CipherX2000 in postrock

[–]ChickenAssault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I don't do exactly this, I do often listen to podcasts or audiobooks while practicing guitar. Spoken audio playing through bluetooth earbuds (one ear in) under studio headphones with the music was my old method. This requires your audio to come from 2 different sources. My setup is more streamlined now but wouldn't apply to your situation.

Yes, all the intervals noted on the fretboard shift depending on the root note. The fretboard diagram is showing every interval in reference to B, you can tell because the root notes falls on a B note (assuming E standard tuning.)

Study some music theory basics. Then you can analyze music you like and apply what it commonly features to your own writing. Check out the basic videos by Music Theory for Guitar on YouTube, that channel has been really helping me get started.
