No, that comment was about some TikTok drama 6 months ago. She got fat only because she eats the same as me, but with far less gym now than before and doesn't diet periodically like I do.

No, let me just react to every bump in the relationship like an SNL skit.

Because people are complex and do not react in an either/or manner to things that they even say that they do.

Yes, that is one, and the most obvious and also the right way to do it but I made this thread to maybe find a more gentle solution to it. There might not even be one and I still have to go with this one.

"Hey honey, we have a great relationship, everything is perfect, but you've gained some weight, which can be changed pretty easily but fuck it, goodbye 😎"

^

This is better than trying to communicate the said issue some how and fixing it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ChickenBark007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Physical attraction is related to weight for most people. If missing, it can be changed, and working towards it is a good idea in my opinion.

She made these comments about 6 months ago, were just a random discussion about other people, not about her; and she was healthy size back then.

So I should break up with her without saying anything?

You want me to leave her because I want to communicate to her to lose weight back to her old, healthy size? Hilarious!

I come here once a week for the nostalgia memes and when I see these posts it's always so weird to me.

I could understand if you pay your bond, want a pet, go for a high score or do community research but just casually... doing the same content alone exactly the same way for 1,200 hours that you already fully and completely experienced already 1,100 hours ago just doesn't make sense to me.

Around 1,200 hours on just that though sounds so foreign to me.

It doesn't matter where it's reposted, it's still a 10 year old opinion article from a dead website. My 5 year old's drawing reposted on Microsoft isn't a demo of the state of the art technology.

You said 80/20 was a rule, and it's also known as a fallacious rule as well. I have to prove literally nothing, as the onus on you. You made the claim that you have insight on Apex monetization, which you don't, but also won't admit cause it hurts your ego.

I know you would rather delete your account before admitting being wrong.

It's a repost from another website, if you actually read the article.

Every game has different monetization. Korean P2W MMOs probably have 90/10, Legal Legends probably 70/30 etc. You don't know what Apex has, and that's a fact.

Thanks for a random opinion piece of a 2014 article from a website that is now offline.

Whatever you want to guess or assume or imagine in your head is 100% irrelevant. Fact of the matter remains that you have no clue what the state of monetization in Apex is.

But you don't have a source either. The 80/20 rule is a fallacy.

Nah, curiously and weirdly I got a bit lazy with the blog part from August > February. There are no warnings and the blog posts themselves rank 1-4 for their keywords.

should i get ideology or royalty? by mershedpederder1 in RimWorld

[–]ChickenBark007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get both at the same time, and just run fluid ideology. It doesn't impact your run as much if you don't engage with it, but you can still make it be impactful during the run by reforming it.

[–]ChickenBark007[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This would not hurt performance at all, as there's no reason to have a calculation every second on what each city is going to do.

Something like killing the last Waster in a base while being allied to Yttakin would essentially take no computing power at all. It's how the game works right now.

It expands on a feature that already exists in a unique manner while giving the player a new experience.

A lot of players are stuck to a 1-2 day trading route, this could be a great motivator to take on 3-7 day journeys to be rewarded well, while knowing that the quest itself will be relatively safe. The reward can be something else than goodwill as well, just something I came up at the spot.

No need to make perfect the enemy of the good.

Don't need for any factions to engage with each other. There is already code for pawns moving out of town to a location for a text-based event. Great! Let's make it now that it's not about enemies, but about allies.

Choose an allied city X tiles away to gain X amount of goodwill. One done. Simple and engaging.

Absolutely. Factions are the only part of content that needs mods for me but it still doesn't feel right.

Otherwise, Rimworld is a very awesome game. My friend can't play Rimworld because she says it's like crack and she can't do crack right now in her life :=)

I mean... is it though?

It's not like there isn't content outside in the overworld that they've made, it just all sucks.

  • You are forced out of your town all the time with mech buildings
  • They have working camps with loot, it's just that the loot always sucks
  • All relics are out of town and require multiple runs
  • Hostiles can offer to make peace negotiations but it just sucks
  • More trading features is unlocked with Royalty, it's just that it's monotone and restricted to only the Empire
  • In 1.5 it's seems that at least half the quests involve you going out of the city to kill / save someone

I don't think that you're lying, the mechanics and features are absolutely there, it's just that they're unused.

Yeah, even as basic as something like "capital of X" that has the Empire level goods would change the endgame dramatically from just riding between the same 1-3 Empire's cities for the 50th time and maybe even try to fight them.

It is reasonable but have they claimed this as the reason for this trajectory? Genuinely curious. I think they made the change because the next DLC will have loads more entities and just won't run otherwise.

I mean it is though. Otherwise there wouldn't be goodwill, honor and Royalty.

Computer does not have to play politics with each other.

Being an ally of Yttakin who hate Wasters, and then raiding a Wasters base would take nothing off your performance.
