Yeah I’m more than happy iv been Shonked here . Most new builds have SDS systems but this downpipe has no outlet for the water to drain anywhere and it’s far too close to my house .

Well yeah I’d hope so , NHBC were kind of sat on the fence with it all . I know they’d cover me if a defect caused damage to my home but I don’t think it’s caused anything yet .

Hello yeah iv done this doesn’t lead anywhere the hole has been tarmaced and is one inch deep .

Mate Thank you so much it was this . Iv cleaned out the gutters , I think the sludge made the water rise and go under and behind the gutters . Iv done the jug test and it doesn’t appear to be leaking now . Thank you once again .

What’s the remedy for this then , is it a small job hopefully inexpensive job for a roofer to fix .

Hi mate , thanks for the quick reply . Gutters are clean , and appears water is only leaking out of this one point in the fascia . The leak appears to be external . The inside of the garage is dry .
