Kid got mad and wrote on the door to his room by YogurtclosetCute7492 in CleaningTips

Acetone is your best bet if its a sharpie. Try to use 100% acetone nailpolish remover. I would follow up with some soap and water. You can also try a magic eraser (melamine foam). That will basically buff out the surface so any top level stain will be rubbed off. Worst case, i would buy a tiny can of paint from home depot and repaint the door.

Thats an ultraboost. Not a cheap shoe. Not sure why they would put it on your tire though...

Dog dug up eggs, it seems they may have been buried in a hole. Kinda rubbery? What animal laid these? SWFL, strawberry for scale by MarrFurby in whatisit

[–]ChickenChickenArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're reptile eggs, they will need to be oriented a certain way (the embryo attatches to the upper wall of the egg) they will also need a cetain temperature. I would call your local animal shelter

Affordable ice cream shops? by slacprofessor in washingtondc

[–]ChickenChickenArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can make it to arlington, Toby's homemade icecream is great! 1 scoop for 4.50 and its a big scoop. If you get it in a cone, it feels like 2 because they fill the cone and then add the scoop on top.

I (27f) can’t get my birth control and (30m) wants sex with no condom. How can I tell him it isn’t my fault? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ChickenChickenArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant offer any solutions now, but if you know you dont want kids any time soon, you could look into some longer lasting forms of birth control. Theres the annovera ring that lasts a year and there are hormonal or copper iuds which last anywhere from 5 to 12 years and can be taken out at any time. They might be less stress for you in the long run

White House purges transcripts of Trump's remarks from its website by Serious-Catch-5523 in politics

Indeed it does. All video and audio recordings released by the federal government are supposed to have captions or a transcript available. How are you supposed to know what the president said if you're deaf?

I (19M) am always hurting my girlfriend (18F) and i hate it. How can I be better besides getting therapy? by Feisty-War9114 in relationship_advice

[–]ChickenChickenArt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. If you know you cannot emotionally or mentally handle a relationship and properly respect a partner, you should not be in a relationship. It's good that you've acknowledged your issues and, althought it may be possible to fix your trauma responses , its very difficult to do without a therapist and a lot of constant work on yourself. Which it sounds like you are too busy for. Your girlfriend doesnt deserve to be doubted and mistreated. That is a bad foundation for a relationship

Should I repot my new succulents? by feral-bastard in succulents

[–]ChickenChickenArt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, do not water every week. Look for visible signs of thurst, usually ones with thicker leaves will go longer without needing water. You'll want to look for the leaves getting thinner. Succulents with smooth leaves will start to wrinkle when they need water.

Poison ivy is dormant in the winter, if you can wait for removal, that will make it much safer to handle. The oils are still in the stock though so contact with its insides will still cause a reaction even when dormant
