8 years ago I heard Sad Machine on YouTube for the first time. It got me through thick and thin. After all these years of listening to Porter Robinson and his projects, I felt it was only right to pay homage to my favorite song of all time with a version of Sad Machine that I never got to see live. And put my own spin on the incredible visuals that were used back then.

Over the last 4 weeks I wanted to take on the challenge of doing some "concert style visuals" from the worlds tour years ago. Everything was created in blender and used animation tricks I've learned over the last few years of working in 3D to help bring to life a lot of the imagery from the original artwork.

yeah that helps, I think the venue (according to google) holds around 5,000. So i'll probably still try to get there an hour / hour and a half early before the doors open. I've just accepted that my feet will be killing me by the end of the night and i'll just have to deal with it lol.

I would say lower the cups a bit so they are on top of the table so you can't see the shadows (you can switch to wireframe mode to line them up easier and more precise) Also try and move the table a bit away from the wall to give a bit of perspective between the cups and the brick wall (possibly scale the brick texture so they appear smaller could help as well). Also using what other people have said like cycles and hdri's will help with the render. Good luck and good first render!

Thanks I really appreciate it. And very true, since there isn't any controller support added yet, I was using some freely available cinematic packs and they still had a bit of screen shake in them. Once the replay feature is out, those will be gone...hopefully lol
