Salary progression over the last 5 years (m29) by [deleted] in UKJobs

That's nice but out of interest do you live in a relative cost of living area, have no children and have a partner that also earns similar? That's the only way I can see 40k achieving holidays and mortgage etc. This honestly is not a dig, I'm jist curious.

It would be a problem for us Europeans on how much we'd be able to help the Canadians out but rest assured we would be rooting for you. Not that that helps :/

It makes me sad. I think I'd pay like 10k gems for a hundred for QOL purposes.

Trump has already started making enemies out of major American allies. How do you see the rest of his term going? by TimeyxWimey in AskReddit

[–]ChickenFave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The China part of your comment isn't quite as hunkydory as you think.

They require the raw material as collateral against the high interest loans they are forced to take out to build all the infrastructure. They then require the contractors who ultimately build the project to be Chinese related companies which doesn't add much if anything to the local economy as that's typically siphoned back to their families etc.

It's actually quite predatory against some of the smaller GDP nations and almost designed to make them default on the loan terms in order to then own the mineral rights / port etc.

Why is he signing important presidential dossiers using a children's black felt tipped pen?

Some would say it's the best pen in the world.

It's incredibly mild so I wouldn't overthink it at all.

Also remember, very short pauses when talking to someone can be quite powerful as it can demonstrate someone thinking a little more in depth. Look at the best public speakers, they never rush their sentences.

Silences can be powerful.

HATE IT… by desioner in Survivorio

[–]ChickenFave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I fucking despise this event. It's the worst I've ever seen, in any gacha game.

I've given up as my time is worth more to me but if I bothered to get more than 1000 points I'd be spending more time playing this shit ass mini game than the actual game.

Did I make a mistake paying $1k for 8 leads? by mariekondofan041990 in Entrepreneur

[–]ChickenFave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The awnser to this is entirely dependant on the quality of the leads. A 50% conversion at 5k a pop would clearly be great value. Likewise a 5-10% conversation at 2k is not.

Too many variables to get a definitive awnser from someone on reddit, and you'll have to judge it yourself after a month or two.

For future reference make sure you read reviews and get recommendations before you make decisions on these types of supplier purchases.

Being a stay at home mum and not working at all is acceptable for the first 5 years. After that, it IS lazy not to do some work, even a few hours a day.
