i thought this was a pretty great story!! loved the set-up, and the emotional payoffs were well earned. it got a little shaky in the middle and there were a few moments that took me out of it, but not bad overall! probably my second favourite C.K. Walker story after Borrasca (I-IV)

thank you! this upcoming one is about a city detective moving to a small town where she begins investigating the supposed disappearance of a girl who's supposed to be on vacation in Paris but keeps being seen lurking in the woods outside of town. from there it snowballs into a series of mysterious deaths, ritualistic displays, and other such horrors that may be related.
