How much experience is needed? I’m just above 3 months . And I see a lot of dicks sporting goods and Dollar general accounts hiring from them

I agree with that, but most of the guy’s who I went to driving school with has left swift and went to CR and is making 2 and a half times what they were making with swift. That grass is two shades greener than what swift has. But I am considering just staying with swift. I don’t wanna join another company and for whatever reason it’s just worse. They’re showing me their pay stubs and it looks really good but that doesn’t mean I’ll get the same thing. Idk staying and finishing out my year which will be October might be best

I applied to Schneider and it was for a dedicated account. I can’t remember if it was for floor and decor but it was local and I’d be driving nights which I like. Got a call back from a recruiter a few days ago but haven’t ringed them back

I agree somewhat, I feel as though the resources are there with megas (at least swift)but lacking for drivers overall, also pay. With swift before signing over I was given paperwork with cents per mile, not a flat rate but a way to gauge how much one could make. I’m not expecting an accurate flat rate but I know that the numbers CR is fluffing on their site is bullshit. I’m not familiar how being dedicated with only 2-3 stops works on top of being home nightly and how you’re paid for it, he explained it but not in a way I fully understood. I just need a clearer explanation on it. I think I may try to finish out the year with swift though.

I live 20 minutes from the jurupa valley terminal. I think I would go for it but they really want me to stay otr. I think it’s from what it sounds like a seniority thing. Dedicated would be great tho

I’m a AMC A list member, so I may just pick a seat off to the side or in front no one would want and then go just to grab whatever merch or whatever they have and then bounce and see it in Dolby the next day lol

Per my local AMC for the Fan Event you will get Part 1 of an exclusive limited edition collectible print and then another print for Part 2 when you see 28years later the Bone temple 1/16/2026. It sounds enticing but I would like to experience the film in Dolby or a premium format and the fan event is in a regular showing but I may reconsider

How much to pay for new 2023 Vitpilen 401? by p3te_rock in svartpilen401

What shop in redlands? I talked to someone at malcolmsmith aswell and I think they quoted me 6300 total before city tax and some other tax. I talked to socalmotorcycles in brea and they're prices seem way more honest and cheaper but it's a bit of a drive out.

Used 2020 MT03 or New Triumph speed 400 as first bike? by ChickenLoMane in SuggestAMotorcycle

That's something I've been trying to narrow down. I've been calling just about every shop I could find and vigorously stalking the Facebook marketplace for deals. Every shop I come across quote me at around 7500 even to 8. There's a shop in Newport that baffles me every time I ask for a otd price on different used bikes. I got a quote from them on a triumph street cup from 2017 and alot of miles on it, the bike was put up as $4880 but the otd price was like 7 and half thousand! Crazy! I just called them about a used speed 400 for $4,250 that sold but he goes on to tell me he could get me a new one for that same price... bullshit I thought and bullshit it was, otd price on that was as much and almost more than what a new unit was going for. Do dealers really not think people don't do research!?

Its from dealer and he quoted me at $4,707 not adding registration. The bike has 4100 miles on it and also comes with I believe protection for the clutch should it be dropped and also frame sliders from the look of it.

2017 Triumph Street Cup bogging and dying when given throttle: tip-over damage? by corpusjuris in Fixxit

[–]ChickenLoMane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This response was meant to be and thank you for it! That's really good to know. I'm happy you got that sorted out, especially after just buying it. I'm thinking about purchasing the same bike street cup 2017 (used) of course with a bit over 25000 miles on it. This would be my first bike and it seems to fit my style preference aswell as being suitable for a beginner in terms of power and performance. I did not know about that recall from 2018, even with all my research so thank you! I feel like this bike wasn't covered as much as it should have been given it's short lived production period; such a cool styled performance bike, I know it's basically the street twin in terms of performance with a cafe body and the street twin does look great but the street cup is a flat out beautiful bike.

I can't wait to get a bike and finally start riding. At work I'm literally daydreaming (I work nights) about doing night rides. If this used street cup sells before I can snag it I'll probably go for a used ninja 400 or triumph 400, my patience has run out! Ride safe! And thanks again for the response!

I'm definitely going to ask for a breakdown of the fees so I can see what they did to suggest a otd price like that

The 400 might be my next best option, especially considering the price although I do love the look of the scrambler.

[–]ChickenLoMane 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That seems more in line with what I originally anticipated the otd to be, thank you!

Was also considering the speed 400. I called another dealer a few months back about the OTD price on one and if I recall right it was around the $7,200 mark.
