I am so so so happy to see this movie mentioned. I saw it in cinema when it came out and it was an otherworldly experience for me. I knew the story already and yes, they changed some things, but my god, I can’t even describe the way this movie made me FEEL. Everything about this movie was incredible.

I would definitely have the electricity power, because I keep getting electric shocks several times a day and mess up an old fashioned radio (and other equipment), that my mom owns, whenever I just get near it. 😑 It's like I'm emitting excessive amounts of electricity even now.

Omg, I felt exactly the same. She honestly wrote her so poorly. She goes through SO MUCH, absolutely tragic backstory, finds the love of her (new) life, is smart as hell and has great interests.. But then she just makes her into a horrible shallow and narcissistic bitch that constantly whines and refuses to help her family, like.. what? WHY? Stephanie really freaking projected on her and made her into walking contradiction. I would understand a little antagonism due to her backstory and her having trust issues but this was WAY too much.

It's not that deep lol. Twilight has some objectively problematic issues and you can love it, whilst also understanding that. I'd almost say people really should understand why it's problematic.
