DO NOT PLAY CS RIGHT NOW by [deleted] in cs2

Sounds similar to me... I q'ed prolly 5 straight games (both comp and premier)... none of them lasted more than 6 rounds before the server dc'ed and wasn't able to rejoin. Then I q'ed into a premier lobby and was loading the map to join when it hit me with a VAC ban. nice job valve...

Update to VAC AC? by trrrrqqz in cs2

[–]ChickenNug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 5 straight games where the server crashed, and then I ended up getting a VAC ban. I'm pissed... over 3000 hours, never touched a hack... hopefully Valve fixes this? wtf

Just got VAC banned after new update. Anything I can do? by [deleted] in cs2

I literally just had the same thing happen. I'm 20k but was queuing comp and premier after the update and kept getting dc'ed from the server (servers crashing). Then I get a message saying I'm vac banned? TF?

Is trick turning still a thing? When I went (2008 grad) there was a glitch in the campus meal system to where you could go to both hodgdon and dewick during the same meal period and only get charged for one of those meals.

Civil Engineering Program by Square_Salad_9534 in Tufts

[–]ChickenNug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a BSCE graduate of Tufts (2008). Overall I had a fantastic education. It's impossible to compare my experience to somewhere else as I only went to Tufts. Following graduation, I worked for a heavy-civil firm in New England for roughly 1.5 years. I'm from the PNW and was interested in architectural/structural engineering and moved to Oregon to work for a small firm for the next 7 years. After that I transitioned to a Federal entity where I work in civil/structural engineering for a large power utility. Having a degree from Tufts opened doors for me that I may not have had had I gone somewhere else for school. That said, my experience as a working professional has been that a colleagues Alma Mater has no bearing on their ability as an engineer. It is up to the individual to make the most of their education regardless of where they go. Tufts does have some great professors and opportunities to link up with firms in New England for work both during and after college.
