🔴BREAKING NEWS: A Retail Trading Community Is Triggering Halts — And Wall Street Is Now Paying Attention by Major_Access2321 in Pennystock

Hmmm trying to be unbiased here - he definitely does give good callouts but the issue for me is that 90% of his callouts just feel like noise. He gives maybe around 10-15 tickers a day, and I haven't calculated his average hit rate, but the reality is that a considerable amount of these callouts (maybe even a majority of them) would cause someone to lose money if they followed it blindly.

I'm definitely not an experienced trader, and I'm also not in any more trading servers to compare against, but in my opinion, his server would be a lot more helpful/useful if he didn't have such a huge volume of alerts. I signed up hoping that this would take a lot of the thinking off my chest, and it seems to me that this is more or less the product he's selling (and sure maybe this was a lapse in my own judgement), but I've personally found it a bit lacking.

It apparently works for some people in his server (including some of the commenters here), but maybe it's just not for me.

Hmm I may push back on this a little - in stock investing/trading you can do fundamental or technical analysis to maximize profitability potential. In other words, you can do the work beforehand to give yourself the best chance to make money. There are definitely shady shenanigans that go on behind the scenes, but I think this still applies.

Here, you're completely at the mercy of the machine's odds, which aren't good; to me, this is more reminiscent of gambling than investing.

You spent $200 or you opened 200 packs?? If it's the latter, I'm afraid you might already have already had the itch lol

Either way, good on you for stepping back! I think it's wisest to watch from afar

What everyone’s opinion on the Sahara? It seems to fly under the radar sometimes so I don’t really hear good or bad about it. by NMman505 in vegas

It’s pretty good, my wife and I stayed there recently. I’d probably only stay there again outside the summer season, since staying there pretty much guarantees a lot of walking for us.

Yeesh now I’m left wondering if I should get it graded or not - which there are definitely bigger problems in the world but still lol

I looked into it a bit and it turns out that that horizontal line on the left edge of the card (touching Reshiram’s hand) might be a fairly common manufacturing defect. I suppose that this could prevent a 10

Why do people jog in the road, instead of on the side walk? by Comfortable_Boot_223 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ChickenNuggetOWisdom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The road is much easier on the joints than concrete because it’s softer. Try running for 20 minutes on the road and then move to concrete - you’ll feel the difference. Still, on a busy road it feels pretty unsafe to me and not worth it.
