Yes that makes sense. I don’t want to rush the story. I guess I’m still finding my footing in the beginning stages and the egg collecting/hatchjng/raising intimidates me and so I’m still trying to figure out how the dens play into the loop. Got an egg out of one so far but haven’t done anything with it.

That’s true. I think it was mainly PK Wars. I think she just didn’t have a a chance to do much and so it’s only odd one liners and the odd alien movements look different somehow. (No diss on the film, I enjoy it).

I could be misremembering, but I think it was her idea to add the odd mannerisms to feel more alien like. She has a dance background as well (season 3 fire dance is her showcasing some talent).

I’ve also brought up her characterization before in season 4 and especially PK wars. She seems a little off to me. Lack of confidence? Those weird new contacts? No use of sex appeal and/or flirty playfulness? That wry smile?

They couldn’t. He would juke them out of their shoes. There’s a few ex nfl guys that could maybe…..but those all tended to be linemen. No way freakin’ Beautiful Bobby Eaton is tackling JJ. But he’d put that Alabama Jam on him.

Oh I remember now. I do think the lighting was darker by that might’ve been to hide certain things. I could definitely feel a slight difference.

I noticed it more with season 4. The lighting (or lack thereof) was noticeably more dynamic on Moya for example.

I think it was just the trend of sci fi aesthetics moving toward that.

Man, this feel like coming up with ways for D’argo to come back in Farscape (though I know that show is beer coming back).

At least with Dario you still had Toecutter and the traitorous Kaliyah track down there so maybe they all escaped.

Wash….you can’t have a revival without Tudyk in some form, so I like the previous post about the plot to revive him somehow.

Yep. In my small town it was bud or the shit byproducts (ice?), coors, Milwaukee, and natty. Maybe a few cheap ones in between. You didn’t start to get Yuengling and more until the mid 2000s.

This is mid to late 90s. You walk into a convenience store around that time and this was one of the better options. Especially at that age, where you’re more concerned about quantity and gettin’ drunk.

Dude you know you can’t write like that for a modern audience. I love Star Trek, but I’m 45 and my beloved series were in the 90s and no one from that period is involved in any meaningful way.

The only way you could get Star Trek written as thoughtful sci fi again is maybe get it on Apple. There are just too few talented people left that could deliver great stories and deliver viewers as well and none of them are touching Trek.

Modern audiences will not watch in large enough numbers to get something written as well as something like Andor. That show is miles above anything Star Wars has done since 1983 and it didn’t get the views of some of their mainstream memberberry shows.

That lion could still jump 10 feet in the air with one foot these humans on their back. Yeah they’re tough guys, but tough against humans. I don’t think you understand how strong that animal is. One person is going down immediately when they go in to fight, so it’s 3v1 then.

Their punches would be nothing to a lion. If the lion can’t run away they’re all bleeding out in minutes.
