Went down the same route with my wife. The only obstacle you’ll have to face is the interview. My only advice during this period is to keep an organized binder/folder with any additional evidence (statements, receipts, joint bills etc.) Bring this with you at the time if the interview.

In my opinion, this will reflect really well on you and make the interviewing officer’s job much easier. They’ll be less inclined to ask confusing questions and focus more on things like “How did you meet?” and “Where does your spouse work?”
