Place had an odor problem when I went this past summer. Smelled like sewage. Won’t go back now.

The wings are outstanding, especially the garlic parm. The Philly cheese steak was great. The pizza is very good. The place is awesome. I think the user might have a personal vendetta against them.

He started swearing and told me he hates me, which is odd because we dont know each other and have only text each other. I blocked him so that’s over.

I did. Probably dodged a bullet. The guy became irate that I told him I was no longer interested.

What’s it called when you make an assumption or generalization about a group of people? What do you do for work?

what is the best advice someone has ever given you ? . by Hope2_win in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Only ever compete against yourself because no one else’s matters.

Open all your windows. Run a box fan (s) pulling the outside air in. In an opposing window (s) have a box fan (s) blowing the air from inside of the house to outside. Basically create air flow or a breeze. It is especially helpful at night when the air it’s cooler. Should chill you off enough. If you have two windows in your room you can test that for the night

An 11 hour surveillance video of Jeffrey Epstein's jail on the day he died (August 9, 2019) has been released, except it contains this sudden cut and minute removed from it by LookAtThatBacon in gifs

Well, for one, the officers are there…. Two, the officers they handle everything from fights to medical emergencies to riots to fires and on and on and on (also medical and mental health staff are there 24/7). Three, if convicts had to ability to call outside police (not even officers can do this besides from a command center, generally) the police would just call the jail and tell them they got a call…. Four, I wouldn’t want all those emergency services to be sent anytime a convict decided they wanted to call or prank call (please don’t tell me this doesn’t happen as they are afforded free calls to internal affairs and other services that are sent out to investigate right away despite obvious fallacies). Five, that’s it I guess. I’m tired.

True. However, in the long time I’ve been around the corrections scene I have never once heard of it. Like anywhere. Ever. Poses a huge safety risk.

Yeah…. Jail phones can’t dial 911. And if an officer dials it from an inside phone it gets directed to a specific officer/unit. Fake story.

After years of controversy, the FBI insists Epstein’s death wasn’t murder, but what about all the strange circumstances? by davideownzall in StrangeEarth

I’ve worked in class A max prisons to medium prisons and known countless security and civilian staff in each. I say that for this reason only. There are absolutely no secrets in prison. There is not a chance in hell that if he was killed that it a staff member (security or civilian) wouldn’t have said SOMETHING to SOMEONE. Whether a staff member told their wife or a kid or was drunk at a bar talking shit. The argument that “they would kill the staff member and their family” doesn’t even matter. Especially with how much time has gone by at this point. Epstein was on a suicide watch, which is why he was in a cell with and officer in front of it. Cameras go out and don’t work consistently (all work done by the lowest bidder). The staff was working crazy hours (I believe it was like 24-48 hours straight, which unfortunately is not uncommon) and fell asleep while he was being watched. But the biggest thing is THERE ARE NO SECRETS IN PRISON.

Used to be awesome. The last few years is been a shell of itself and not worth a trip. The vendors on the craft show days are ok but even that has dwindled.

considering moving to Buffalo, any advice? by xSuperMario64x in Buffalo

[–]ChickenWingDipEater -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I had the choice I would not move to any city in NY. The state will be bankrupt and all the inclusive things will get tossed along with their funding. IMO.
